It's both ways. NQD has his views on what is happening and most of us find them bewildering based on what we heard from Barnes last night, and Magnus, Prehab etc recently. However he still has those views and they won't last forever and will be proved right or wrong in the next 2-4 weeks.

There's no point challenging him on it further - he's pushing back and defending himself so obviously feels strongly. He's either going to be proved right or wrong - let's just accept he has a differing view and wait and see. Him posting every now and then saying he's heard its not happening, is not stopping the rest of us assuming and discussing that it is happening.

all before Barnes but **** all is happening

Obviously you’ve just wasted your time finding all of this and not read my reply to someone on here. Obviously talks have been ongoing, multiple talks have bit at different degrees... what I’ve said is there’s been no talks to the degree that’s been mentioned in here or what NB’s is suggesting

Finally glad to see that you admit you're guessing. Took a while but thank you and now we can all move on.

Again I’ve already covered this in another reply. I’m not guessing as I’ve stated no deal is close. I can’t really be more matter of fact than that

Whoa.....

You have previously stated that there are no talks going on at all and it's just a smoke screen.

Gee whiz. Stop whinging then and ignore me... you keep repeating yourself but just using different words.. you don’t like what I say, and don’t trust it, so let it go mate

Nah, I'll respond to any post I like on here, same as any other poster can thanks. And if I want to respond to one of yours with a 'I don't believe you', I shall. In fact, I don't believe you have a source at all. I also don't believe you've never posted on any other board before this current incarnation. I do believe you are just an attention seeking wum though and again, I'll feel free to point that out an all.

As for the bit in bold, that's an excellent description of yourself tbf. And even if it was true about me, well at least I can occasionally be funny. You haven't even got that going for you.

whoa

there aren’t any talks going on of any magnitude which would suggest a take over. It’s a business with multiple ares of discussion. Of course people will talk, but it’s not about an impending take over

Quite a back track from there are no talks going on don't you think?

Maybe it's just me.... Nah, it's not just me that thinks you're full of ****

I think you need to relax and realise there’s more to life than this message board.. take a few days off as you seem to be getting a bit carried away pal

No take over talks

SD is NB’s source

Will be no different as it was no different at the end of Sept

SD is playing the fans to get to into the start of the season, hoping we start well, take over talk will go quiet, he still has the FPP loan, the club/SD will come out and pretend the Takeover talk was legit and that nothing could be agreed and they are still actively trying to sell

SD will try and get through another season to get us promoted before finally seeing the writing in the wall

FFP are still the main driving force but won’t pay the asking price of £37m

Storey is a charlatan/fantasist

We’ll still be talking about a ‘fake over’ in Oct

Enjoy Sept and we’ll speak soon

This is why, to a large extent, I find the clamour for billionaire owners a bit odd. We've had one of them before and it wasn't that great. What we really need is someone who knows how to run a football club.

Its not that long ago that people were saying that no billionaire would ever be interested in owning either of the NE's big clubs. I think its pretty obvious that the clubs themselves are massively attractive and so I was pretty sure that eventually a financial heavyweight would turn up. Massive wealth doesn't mean anything if they don't understand football or don't bring in people who do.

Really?

I would have that billionaire owner back in a heartbeat as long as he brought his early years mentality with him and applied some of the things he most definitely learned during his time here (admittedly he will have learned them the hard way). That version of Ellis Short would bring the good times back quickly I have no doubt.
