If its FPP & Sartori with this O'Brien lad and it has gone to the EFL for ratification it should sail through. Only O'Brien would imo need scrutiny from the EFL.....

His operating of the academy over the years has been decent at best and poor at worst for the money it is allegedly costing to run. latterly his main role has been as a minder for the heirachy and an ambassador for function..Over stayed his time here .
Having listened to the podcast Barnes is obviously very solid in his stance on his source. It does point to it being Donald having spoken to him the week before.
I really hope it goes through and goes through quickly, its clear something is happening in the background. Its very very difficult to not have the mindset of the wise men say lads and be very sceptical of it. The fact the date has now moved to when the transfer window shuts does ring alarm bells about being played.

I don’t think O’brien will have enough % of the club if he gets any at all to even be looked at by the EFL
People are right to be sceptical of this as it's Sunderland after all and we often get kicked in the bollocks just as things start to look up. However, certain people appear to have a agenda about it not happening which is the thing I can't fathom.

Agree with everything you said mate but the last bit I don't, think with the signings we've made I think we'll be OK for the season. I'm not a lover of pp but I think this team could get us over the line. Just
I must admit this is the group that would get me excited. It's got the lot, money, business sense and connections (local & international). If that group did end up owning us, ideally I'd like a more 'football man' in the mix too. Dave Jones might be that man or may know the perfect fit for the job.

A few people are saying it's just Fuhrman. I heard from someone I trust that there's no reason to think any of them have walked away and that FPP (all of them) are still interested. Mind that's from someone who doesn't think anything is close so could be wrong. I think a number have suggested that Fuhrman might be the first to get involved (probably got more time on his hands than the others and was allegedly the most interested), and that there will be the opportunity and aim for the others to follow. That would make sense and could explain the conflicting information about whether it's FPP or just F! If 2 of them aren't sure about the risk then maybe Fuhrman will take more of the risk on initially. I'll be fine with either of those. Ideally all of them just come in balls out and crack on, but Fuhrman should comfortably be able to help get things in place to get us out of this league and into a better position and I'm sure the others would join him if and when it happens.
