Appreciate the info but **** sake, that's a bit of anti climax from last night. Especially since @Magnus says it's very very close

I'm not saying it isn't a takeover, I believe it is and with a few backers/investors/partners.

But I just wanted to make it clear.

I'm still being wildly misquoted for things I'm supposed to have said a year ago.

That's all possible mate.

I haven't said its definitely a full takeover.

However I have been told his camp have been in touch with Sartori and haven't ruled out a mutual commitment.

Ahh okay, how certain are you that donald does want out and will just go? e seems like he will cling on to anything

IMO he has zero ambition/affection for the club and is in a financial pickle.

He just wants to leave with as much money as possible and FPP are his best solution, if not the most profitable. As things stand FPP could become the new owners by default.

Yeah very true! Are we 100% someone was around the place the last 24 hours then???

But FPP invested £10m into Madrox and Donald....another whopping lie from Donald. Sooner this crook leaves the better.
It maybe the “investment in him” is true as the £10m may just cover his shares. It is possible when things broke down it was the only option for them to getting a future holding in SAFC.

First bit pretty much my thoughts. I think that he saw the chance of playing football club owner, even though his first practice session with Eastleigh he was sent home early for being incompetent. On this occasion it was his ball we were playing with so until he decides to pack up and go home then we will be stuck with him, despite some of the bigger boys trying to take it off him.

Feels more and more like the £10m was a downpayment for Donald's shares. Security for him and a foot in the door for them.

Donald wanted more but they wouldn't budge from £10m. So to show their commitment and that they wouldn't budge, they offered him the £10m immediately but allowed him to keep control. As if to say "as soon as you are ready, we'll take your shares of you and wipe off that debt". It basically gave Donald both the security of knowing the least he'd get is £10m from FPP, but also the opportunity for him to prove he could make it a success, sell for more, and then pay the £10m back.

It was like a calculated gamble from FPP that he wouldn't be able to get more, and indeed if he COULD get more, they could easily step in and meet the difference if they wanted to anyway.

It's the only way the loan makes sense.

Hopefully find out either way sooner rather than later.

New seasons not far away.

Agree 100% with this
FFP are SD’s only saving grace. They weren’t happy with the way he handled himself last year and would like to see him suffer. The £9m loan was desperation on SD, and FPP backed him into a corner and he took it. It now depends if he has the finance to pay this back (I’m guessing he does) or risk losing the club for a lot less than he values it at

As I said last night, he is in a ‘Financial pickle’ hence why he needs more investment, but as has been pointed out the more investment he takes in the more he will need back in a sales price to cover this etc, He’ll also give up % of the club in return for the funds which he won’t want to do as it means less money in the long term for him! If he can’t get £37m now, he’s not going to get anything more (I doubt even In the championship the way our books are)

He’s desperate and may want out, but stupidly he still thinks he’ll get his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. He’s gambling and his history proves he’s not a very lucky gambler

No ones giving him £37m, but if the £9m loan can be absorbed and he can do a deal he might accept it with FPP (or part of FPP)

As I’ve said MG consortium are ready to step in, but they won’t pay the money. SD will cling on for as long as he can, but ultimately more and more doors are closing in his face and he’s still too stupid to get out when someone is trying to give him another life line

FPP are the main group unless SD can orchestrate a deal with Rybolovlev to take over the financial running of the club, with JS and he’ll take a back seat and wait for us to hopefully get back to the premier league and let’s say his 12% of the club will be worth a lot more for very little financial input going forward

Are you able to elaborate anymore on the info last night that was so positive?

Where do you pull 12% from?

Apologies but your entire post makes no sense

Is this based on information received, correct or otherwise, or conjecture?
You sound very well informed.
