I was told, by someone known to most of us, that Methven was trying to weedle his way back.

I dismissed it because I didn't want to believe it.

Now I'm confused. Because in regards to the Methven rumour, you both have heard the same, however when it comes to the takeover/shares shuffle you and Niall Quinns Dad are saying the opposite to eachother.

What the **** is happening here my head is fried lol.

I try to distinguish between info/gossip/opinion but some people take everything they choose to satisfy their own narrow minded agenda .... their problem not mine, I don't have one.

RTG actually miss subtle posts from a lad who's involved with the club. They're so busy shouting at each other they miss the significant little whispers.

It reminds me of the wonderful Bob Paisley who once explained why he's so softly spoken.

Based on everything I've read, and purely speculating:

• Fuhrman wanted to do a deal at a low value
• Sartori is keen to get Fuhrman in and Donald out to protect his investment, so is trying to convince Donald to accept.
• Sartori didn't want Fuhrman to have more than 75% so asked his father in law to buy Methvens 6%
• We've now got to the point where they're negotiating over exactly how much Donald will sell his % for and its close. May even be agreed.
• Now Methven has found out the billionaire is involved, he's asking for more for his 6%. Or he may have even agreed to sell it but now changed his mind, hence the "worming back in" rumours.
