Then you can choose to ignore the thread. I'm happy that I trust the people providing the positive sounding news. Maybe Donald has finally moved slightly on the asking price, maybe a group has decided that by shifting the share % they're happy to meet the price and share the risk. With the greatest of respect I obviously don't know who you are or what your source is, so I'm bound to give it less credence than long term posters, two of whom I know personally (prehab and rubberface) and one (smug) who I know for a fact was bang on about almost everything he said regarding fpp the last time. There's others who seem trustworthy saying similar. I think it's unlikely they're all making it up.

Which is fine. I’m assuming you are getting this information from someone within the club or you are someone within the club?

Why would CM be at a board meeting? He isnt part of the board.

We won't see on Friday, literally no one has mentioned Friday. If we get to Friday I can already tell you'll be on saying "told you". If there's a deal going on it might be looking positive now but it'll take as long as it takes.

People get carried away with hysterically extreme views, no one mentioned Friday.

RTG actually miss subtle posts from a lad who's involved with the club. They're so busy shouting at each other they miss the significant little whispers.

It reminds me of the wonderful Bob Paisley who once explained why he's so softly spoken.

People should also listen to @Ned Doig who's as decent a bloke as you'll find but some won't because it doesn't suit they're Internet warrior agenda.

I know for a fact Garbutt was made a good offer but knocked it back stating he wanted to play in the championship. Positions change but that was only a week or two ago.

Could be wrong, but didn't Magnus say he was signing a 3 year deal too? Not calling Magnus out by the way, it might very well still happen, or even fallen through, but UpThere might have been telling the truth when he told us. We don't know how this takeover could be affecting transfers...stuff in the pipeline under Donald might not get signed off if he's on the way out.

I honestly cannot wrap my head around what people get out of trying to piss on everyones chips. They should start their own threads saying 'There's no takeover and here's why', instead of repeating the same thing again and again - we get it, you don't think it's happening - now bugger off and let those of us who are happy to discuss what might be happening to continue to do so in peace!
