Remember the battle's at Horden in the early 70's and at the Clansman ( i was a yaker ) Don't know why it happened.
It also happened between colliery villages
I was only little - my mam and dad wouldn't let me play out with those kinda ruffians!

Aye it was nice mate, especially as I’ve been shielding since March, Berwick has lovely beaches, dog friendly, only 90 mins away, wasn’t busy at all, takeaways to the caravan, Alton towers this weekend

It’s £150 for two adults two kids for Sunday and Monday, stopping in the Alton Towers hotel so we get in before everyone else, an hour I think, if there are 4 cars then all 4 are together, if it’s parties of two then it’s 2 in a 4 car unit, social distancing signs everywhere, you have to book restaurant slots in advance apparently it’s all very well organised and covid safe, I’ll let you know exactly after we have been mateHow is Alton Towers working mate? You have to book a time slot or owt like that? Guess it's too big a place for that. Still about £60 for a day ticket?
Always loved the name of that Chinese takeaway there "The Blackhall Wok"i was a yacker too, lived in bracing Blackhall.

I'd be a bit pissed off if any new owner come in and sacked PP 3 weeks before the season starts (assuming there is a takeover announced this week.)So what day are we expecting news from safc.com saying “it’s with deepest regret we have parted company with P.P”
I’m going Thursday.
We are staying in derby on the Saturday night in a travel lodge as didn’t fancy a four hour drive starting at 6am on Sunday then a day in the park, the Alton towers hotel is on top of the park tickets which includes breakfast, it’s one of those themed ones, not sure how much it was Mrs c booked it, it’s a class day out even better if you do the two days as there is no rush and you get to go back on your favourites, some absolutely cracking rides the smiler is out of this world£150 for the tickets and room? Very decent deal mate. One of my greatest days was in 1993 when a few of us from Macclesfield college got into Alton towers free. Technically broke in but the lad who claimed he knew how to completely backed it up. Looking back it was absolute madness and barely believable.
Yeah I was talking to Methven the day of the Wimbledon match and he told me the takeover was all but done.. Never trusted a word that came out of his mouth after that.During the last takeover I was fed duff info, from 'Methven', which confused the situation ...
... I'm a bit more wary these days.
It’s what new owners do though, they tend to want their own man in and I wouldn’t have thought PP made much of a mark last season in their eyes.I'd be a bit pissed off if any new owner come in and sacked PP 3 weeks before the season starts (assuming there is a takeover announced this week.)
Him and Rodwell are in charge of player recruitment so sacking him so soon to the season starting could be suicidal.
I met him in Mexico 70 on Boxing Day, slimy toad of a man with a stiff upper lipYeah I was talking to Methven the day of the Wimbledon match and he told me the takeover was all but done.. Never trusted a word that came out of his mouth after that.

Cheers mate, forecast looks dry, that’ll do for usI know pre lockdown (so basically 2019) the queuing was horrific. 2 days should be champion especially with the hour without the crowd. Hoping for a belting couple of days for you.
Cracking food there marra, hopefully the toad didn't put you offI met him in Mexico 70 on Boxing Day, slimy toad of a man with a stiff upper lip
Lovely scran, no we had already eaten, canny pint anarlCracking food there marra, hopefully the toad didn't put you off
We've literally just booked up, the daughters mate is there today and she said the queues are not that bad apart from one or two of the bigger rides. I was going to pay the big bucks for the fast track tickets but the sods are not doing them because of covid which i find mental...It’s £150 for two adults two kids for Sunday and Monday, stopping in the Alton Towers hotel so we get in before everyone else, an hour I think, if there are 4 cars then all 4 are together, if it’s parties of two then it’s 2 in a 4 car unit, social distancing signs everywhere, you have to book restaurant slots in advance apparently it’s all very well organised and covid safe, I’ll let you know exactly after we have been mate
