Fits like a glove mate which is why I perhaps got a bit over excited this morning.

However it has elicited a pm from someone with almost identical info including a couple of things I hadn't mentioned on the forum.

There's definitely something going on.

I've been told there's a club meeting next week and that's absolutely all I can say about that. If I said more it might make the fella think I can't be trusted. Whatever the case I desperately hope this is all over soon, despite what people may think I'm finding all this draining.
I’ll be on the look out for some private jets :emoticon-0105-wink:
But in all seriousness thanks for your info I had no doubt in what you share as soon as it came out you knew the company who did due diligence for fpp and was correct on that.

I don't even know what Barnes said mate.

I don't bother with the media unless it's someone I know ...

... and I don't always trust them tbh.

They're absolute users with no morals since the likes of Weatherall.
He said deal done by end August thats it

"I understand Sunderland AFC owner Stewart Donald has entered a period of exclusivity with a prospective buyer - I believe it's not Mark Campbell or William Storey- with a view to selling before the season starts. Sale could be much sooner [HASHTAG]#safc[/HASHTAG]"

Oh my sweet Jesus.....My heart won’t take much more here man!!

Having worked at a top music venue, for a decade, I've seen hundreds of the best acts ...

... his concert was right up there.

It was mainly Italians and he could've done an hour of his hits, an encore and out of it.

He did 3 hours, in the heat of an Italian night, and almost had to be carried off stage.
so, best live act seen? for me it's either TenYears After in 1970 or The Who anytime.

@Smug in Boots, I know you kept hearing "nothings changed", but what was it that made it feel like things are moving or something is "changing" lately? Dont want you to break anything you have been told in confidence, just a little curious as to what got you excited ;)

It was the totally unsolicited message from the fella in Texas ...

... I don't get too many.

Fuhrman has always wanted a takeover and his mates seem to have drifted a bit.

But it wouldn't surprise me if he brought in other people.

did he/they not also put a 10 million 'loan' into the club?... would help explain the lower offer you spoke about, maybe.

i feel one plus point to him/these showing interest is that they already have sound knowledge of the club and finances.

People have criticised Fuhrman for staying quiet but I don't feel that way tbh.

If, as I believe, he's made an offer that's all he can realistically do.

It's up to Donald to accept or find another buyer ...

... sadly these other so-called 'buyers' seem too easily put off.

I've never believed Gray was anywhere close to a deal.

the downside being, of course, SD wants 'his' price or nowt by the looks of it...i think a lot of the micky gray talk was just that, hoping to speed up anyone considering a bid, if there was anything serious i am sure he would have said a little more by now.
