If they bring in people that know what they’re doing, the salary cap really shouldn’t be a problem.

Get a manager in that players want to play for. A brand of football that players want to be part of, with healthy automatic wage increases upon promotion.

Attract the best this division has or the best players who are willing to play at this salary level and take a punt at being part of something special.

Any thoughts of who the Scandinavian sporting director candidate might be?

My narrow minded perspective can only come up with Frank Arnesen and Stefan Schwartz.

Arnesen would obviously be one hell of a coup and would really show they mean business.

The company his father in law is chairman or vice chairman of is Blackridge who manage funds and assets worth over 7 trillion.

Of the three I wrote off there he'd be the one I'd be happiest with. At least he's still managing or has been up until recently and his ideas would suit us better now than they did before.

He was one of the early adopters of playing it out from the back wasn't he and while it was bloody awful seeing O'Shea and Brown grapple with the idea I think it'd work now. Certainly beats whatever Parky thinks he's doing.

Paul Cook would give what we have a rocket up their arses, and get us out of this awful league. He’s available, and wouldn’t cost the earth. This appointment would give the Billionaires Boys Club chance to Implement their strategy for the long term.

I think there will be some sort of freedom of movement like there was before Major brought in the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 followed by Blair’s Social Chapter in 1997. We might see less second rate European players in though, having said that second rate European players would improve our current team.

River Plate separates Argentina and Uruguay, hence more than one team having the monica .

Taking a call from a DOF, employed by Dreyfus, will attract better players than one from Rodwell, that's for sure.

Agents won't get an easy ride from people like these though.

Did the PFA approve of the salary cap? I haven’t been keeping up to date but last I heard was they were saying a salary cap was not enforceable?

IMO they can't enforce it but the smaller clubs would vote for it.

Furthermore playing for Parkinson wouldn’t be attractive to decent players, particularly with the salary cap, the sooner he has buggered off to the National League where he belongs the better.

If one thing has been made blatantly apparent by yesterdays result its that this 'limbo' state, Schrodingers takeover needs to be concluded immediately.
We can't go another league game with this amount of uncertainty around the club. It's pointless having good people come in if we've already fell off the pace. I saw a few tweets etc suggesting you couldn't sack Parkinson because we were still in the hunt, but in reality we're hanging on and will fall aways soon. Drastic imminent action is what we need. I hope those involved can see the urgency of the situation and act accordingly.

Must admit the more i read about this family and the more i hear about their apparent plans the more excited i get.

If FPP stay involved in some way aswell the financial clout we would have behind us would be on a level we could of only dreamed of a year ago
