Yes but he mentioned “tomorrow” being an important day, not the next 3 monthsnot if tonnes of contracts and enquiries and due diligence to be covered. You verbally agree to buy a house and then it takes 3 months to sign. This is a f’ing big house.

Surely “further than a verbal agreement” is a signed one
No need to feel daft fella - can only relay what you’re told and if that’s an optimistic view then so be it. If it’s negative likewise. Keep it upYou know me mate. Not into semantics. Just saying what I have been told.
I messaged out last week to people the situation and to be honest , I feel a bit daft as I was told from a optimistic perspective and I relayed it. That said , it's ongoing, same party and likely to complete.
I am assuming we are those 3 months down the line now, not ITK. And the reluctance to say it’s a done deal is because there is no signature just yetyeh sorry was just pointing out that verbal to signed can be lengthy. Obviously I don’t know what tomorrow is but sounds encouraging for progress at least.
Will take 3 points for now mind

I was told earlier there's a 'Microsoft Teams, meeting on Tuesday to finalise what to announce. In all honesty I had to Google 'Microsoft Teams' but it seems to be what you see on Question Time.
The lad who sent me this info isn't a lifelong friend but he's lifelong Sunderland supporter.

... all of a sudden SW France seems like being on the moon.
If it's not sorted by the end of next week, I am very concerned.
Let's see. There is an agreement verbally but tomorrow is an important day in terms of taking it further.
Fingers crossed.

In football terms it's chicken feed, the buyers should in reality be getting a bargain (even at £37m) if they run it well and with the right people in place.not if tonnes of contracts and enquiries and due diligence to be covered. You verbally agree to buy a house and then it takes 3 months to sign. This is a f’ing big house.
hopefully the verbal agreement is post DD rather than pre.
I'm controlled by a 4 year old who guides me through new technology like I'm landing a Jumbo Jet after the pilot had a heart attack ...
