No takeover and no Americans according to some loose pub talk by Rodwell. On RTG now (not Rodwell).
Say the aftermath of the post over there but couldn’t find the one that started the gossip. Any chance of passing on the new rumours?
Barnesy has to ask the Club that some rumours state that "there is no Americans and is no take over talk" Can you give clarification as to whether the rumour are true or not?

Just had a look. It's some bloke saying his mate was in the pub after the game last night with his Dad (or son) and then in walks Jim Rodwell who tells them there is no takeover and the club is living day to day.
One of those I wouldn't even waste a single grain of salt on. It's like he even forgot about no fans at games and pubs shut at 10 when he suggested it.
Absolutely no reason for Rodwell to be involved in anything to do with the takeover talks.
Suspect he'll be like Parkinson and know bugger all until it happens.
From what I've heard of Rodwell mind he loves to be the Billy big bollox so wouldn't admit it.
