Perhaps I shouldn't have said anything and 'mislead people' but I bet most Sunderland supporters would've done the same.

I think most on here and to be fair a decent number over the road appreciate what you and the likes of Magnus and Prehab have done and continue to in terms of updates mate.

The updates when you all have them are gratefully received.

I would be chuffed to bits if the scenario you’ve outlined came to fruition.

Could be Marwood like as he certainly fits in with the being mentioned on here before part of it

Not sure I see how the finances would be right for Marwood IF the takeover didn't go through, and @Lewberry Pie said the change could happen regardless of the takeover.

Marwood must be on a pretty massive salary at City and whilst I get why he might want to have a lesser commute and fancy the challenge, I doubt we could get anywhere near meeting it without the takeover.

Therefore I'd guess it will be somebody a lot lower profile. Maybe that O'Brien chap.

Do you know who the new chairman is aswell mate? I remember before you alluding to it being a big name some Premiership clubs would be happy to have

Do you think the delay in announcement is tied in with the takeover or separate? Its something else that's been kept well under wraps
