I for one belief various meetings/discussions/offers have been going on for several months now.

However these do seem to have stalled.. I do not know why... presumably Donald's intransigence and Covid19 come into it.

Whether the logjam as it were will be overcome, who the fcuk knows?

Sartori becoming the majority shareholder with Don and Meth keeping a minority, regardless of what happens with FPP, is the only scenario that tallies up with what some folk have said is going on regarding it being nowt more than a share reshuffle and not a takeover, at least to my mind.

FWIW, I think Satori's involvement was to be the proof of funds for the EFL check as Don and Meth haven't got personal access to that sort of cash imo. Because I've always considered him to be a silent investor I'd have no bother with him staying on but if Don and Meth keep any sort of shareholding that's going to create a feeling of wanting a cack after eating codeine for a week.

If that was to happen, in technical terms would that be a takeover with Sartori holding more than 51% and would it be classed as being sold? Just thinking if this would be impacted by the FPP loan in any way, could they block it with having the right to veto future buyers if the loan isn't paid back? Or as they're all part of Madrox, which owes the money, would the loan not be impacted?

Aye, I agree it would be a takeover. GOM over the road said it's a company law definition and has unsuccessfully attempted to get that into a few of the thickos heeds over on PF.

From what I've read on here it does seem the loan means FPP have to agree to a sale to anyone external from Madrox but have no idea if it would impact on any of the current Madrox lot buying out the others.

In my opinion GF is involved. Somebody from FPP has to be as they are the only people who have gone through DD. Way are way to far down the line for a new name to come totally out the blue

It's never been established who had exclusivity and I'm sure whoever it was would have done due diligence. A lot of people assumed it was GF (or FPP) mainly based on the comments Barnes gave along with the timescales. That or MG's group were the main ones mentioned with the likes of Campbell, Storey and a Hong Kong consortium basically dismissed. Who's to say there wasn't another party sniffing around with an NDA in place and nothing leaked?
 
I do wonder if it might be Robert Platek, with him taking over Sønderjyske and that potentially being some kind of feeder club in future years. I wonder if people have heard one of the FPP lads wanted to go alone and presumed it would be Fuhrman and that has what has been ran with. In reality it was Platek and his daughter that have got more into the project and the Danish deal has been easier to do so have done that first while continuing to negotiate on buying SAFC. I know Danish fans are allowed in the stadiums in small numbers so the Covi-19 scenario isnt as big an issue as it is in the purchase of Sunderland.
This is with absolutely no knowledge and pure guess work trying to put all the pieces of people saying things and with last nights ITK post of NOT Fuhrman.

I think it’s fpp wether that includes GF or not is totally irrelevant to me

Just cannot see it. There would of been a leak by now. For me it has to be FPP in some shape or form

Aye, it's FPP or no one imo . If there's been discussions which are currently on hold it's annoying, if something is near completion its great. I just can't imagine there's another bid, from someone completely unconnected, which has flown under the radar without so much as a whisper. Whether you put full stock in the ITK's or not, there's a few people who likely hear bits from the club. Pretty much all have been along the lines of it being Fuhrman or FPP. Not doubting that the lads posting yesterday were doing so in good faith, but someone has to be wrong. I'll be massively surprised if it's a new face. The only caveat to that would be if talks have broken down and someone new has just recently entered the scene, but that would have to put them a long way from any form of completion

Yeah anything resulting in a majority ownership other than sd is a takeover
