Feel free mate, I'd say I'm very confident that we're nearer the start of the process than the end, so thought I'd add that to the thread to temper expectations, but I'm not going to go on and on about it like some do! I'll follow the thread with interest and discuss any developments that are talked about but I won't go pouring cold water on things constantly, not really my thing! For what it's worth I think people here are getting info from good sources and passing it on in good faith, whether what they're being told is correct is a different matter, I hope it is!

I was back to being like a bairn at xmas past couple of weeks, I’m nearly 50 , just really want it over the line, I’ve stopped checking threads regularly this week, which is what I mean by excitement waining.
I won’t be going back until Donald has gone, which is going to be kill me, but I believed only way to get him out was via his pocket, I know Covid has helped push things along massively.

To be fair, I mentioned on here that some of the things you posted suggested you had a decent source and just hoped you were wrong. With hindsight, I'm not sure you were, especially about Donald and the price, I'll hold my hands up on that one and apologise

I want shot of Donald as much as anyone. He’s strangling the club... and I have no idea what his game is as he can’t afford us, but he’s been in ‘talks’ with various people for months. Some more advanced than others, but currently, as I’ve said, we are no where near being sold. A lot of false info is being given out, and I’m not sure why or by whom or for what reason. But as I said SD is going to be hanging around for a while longer unfortunately till his price is met or he gets too desperate and has to sell. He still has some of FPP’s money, he’s cutting more costs around the club etc.... he’s going to try and wing it and pray for promotion (crazy I know). Now I’m not mittens or Kildare or anyone else. I’m not going to reply to each post as I got ‘muted’ last time for speaking too much. I only posted in reply to a question directed to me. I’m not here for an argument or to ridicule anyone. I’ve got no beef with anyone. Let’s just get behind the lads, pray we can get some more players in as the window comes to an end (I.e Mr Graham who has been around the academy a number of times in the last week), and let’s get out of this league. A takeover would be great, but it’s not happening yet, so let’s get back to what we are supposed to be here for and that’s supporting the lads!
Just to throw what I am aware of there's been no meeting today, people will be back next week to discuss the deal further, there's much more than just the share price to think about, anyone buying or remaining with the club will need to be happy with their end and that's still to sort out.
On the plus side we appear to be recruiting with a plan and a manager who knows what players he wants and the players will be well drilled on what their job is.

What were you in for Smug?I've only ever been in prison once in my life, for 3 days in Monaco.
It was a wonderful experience tbf, a cell with a sea view, great food and a TV. I watched the England v Scotland game at Wembley with my feet up there.
A 'lifer' came round, every day, with the library trolley and I chose 'The Naked and the Dead'.
