You're allowed to feel smug if you have your boots on.
Why? Did you have your boots on when you felt him?

That’s my point. He saw the number of players we needed with zero notice and the budget Short gave him and thought ‘no chance’. Could have done a better job with what he had certainly but Short was the biggest issue.Him doing so well at West Ham makes the job he did here even worse. If it turned out he was finished fair enough but he wasn't something wasn't right when he arrived and he gave up.
Because he's a minority shareholder with no influence and no presence beyond attending games when he plucks the courage up.

Wasn’t it confirmed Djilibodji was on the Allardyce list ? I think he was a McKay player like all of backhand Sam’s.Sure the budget was limited but he signed an absolute nobody in Djilobodji for £8m…his transfers were unforgivable.
A random person off the street could have signed better players for less.

Not saying he did well with players like but it fella like him and us were shafted by Short. And Allardyce to be fair .

Agreed on all countsHe was an excellent appointment until he gave up 2 matches in and gave his old pals from Everton money for **** all,the bloke is a disgrace, his time here seems to be glossed over now he has done a magnificent job at a London club. I hate the bastard, being incompetent isnt a crime giving up is!
Agreed on all counts
And an "on".... that predictive text ehDid you mean to put an 'o' in there mate.
Maybe they are better coaches and deliver AN's instructions better. We'll have all worked under poor supervisor's before. Hopefully it's the right call. You must log in or register to see media
It might be the right call, it might be the wrong call but you've got to give people a chance before writing them off. People are falling over themselves to criticise, its ridiculous.Maybe they are better coaches and deliver AN's instructions better. We'll have all worked under poor supervisor's before. The hate towards Dodds is ridiculous. He was huddled with Neil throughout our promotion run in. Some of our fans are so thick it’s embarrassing. They rant on about everythingYou must log in or register to see media

What’s wrong with cutting costs like? Do people just want us spunking money all over the shop again?yeah I suppose it can be spun a number of ways. A small concern it’s possible we could be looking to cut costs but also it could be a positive move.

Can we put this to bed now lads, please?
i do not know any of you on here, or RTG now for that matter so i am unlikely to 'take sides' in any of these discussions.
first and foremost, i have absolutely no proof that ANYONE 'stole' from the club, using my own, limited intellect i can presume with confidence that they both made a big mistake buying the club and expecting instant promotion, it was a gamble that did not come off which meant they had to come clean about not being able to fund the club if it did get promoted (basically they were going to struggle even in league 1) and in all honesty it is possibly a gamble that many would take a chance on as the rewards could have been substantial...they probably ended up with no choice but to sell anything that was not nailed down, that does not excuse them mind.
secondly i am in no way privvy to the goings on at boardroom level, most of which i guess will be very private indeed, therefore i have no clue about any other deals Short might have had on the table and i have no idea how long he would have held on, from common knowledge the club were very close to administration when them two popped up...did they 'save the club?' i again have no clue but it must have been a close call so i guess that one comes down to how you wish to view it.
next and i am again using only what i know, KLD and his family have had their fingers in football business for a long time and he was brought up with all the goings on, he has a damn fine (most likely very expensive) team behind him that i feel sure would have gone through the accounts and all else with a fine toothcomb and had there been any irregularities i am sure we would have heard about them and them two would not have been around long enough to sell shares or indeed still be 'allowed' to keep a few, there again, if anything was found to be 'not quite right' then they may have been offered a lower deal to p1ss off and never return basically but the fact that one still has shares makes me think that part is unlikely.
i am, of course, open to any and all private messaging that can show me solid proof of any wrong doings as i would glady join in the 'slagging off brigade' on them two or any proof to show it is all above board, rather than what we have now which is basically hearsay...but then, almost all of this is just hearsay anyway, innit?
