I might be wrong but I am guessing Donald and Methven have caved into Kyril’s offer and Kyril has won like we thought would happen. The chancers arses fell out cause they couldn’t afford to fund their share of the club.

I reckon KLD was indeed playing the long game and Methven (allegedly) was behind the Tom White/Crypto story leaking in an attempt to spook KLD/drive up the price/speed up the sale. I doubt KLD and his team of lawyers were fooled by this at all and I'm certain he has bought trhe shares at the price he wanted to.

The fact he hasn't bought Donald out is, I think quite deliberate - dilute him down to an insignificant share where he has absolutely no say but still has to provide some pro-rata funding

Following the Club Statement issued by Sunderland AFC at 08:00 on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, Chairman Kyril Louis-Dreyfus released the following comment.

Kyril Louis-Dreyfus: “Today marks an important step as we continue to rebuild Sunderland AFC. Following the 2021-22 season, it was the intention of Juan and I to ensure that the ongoing speculation relating to the Club’s shareholding was addressed as soon as possible. Our ownership group has been consolidated and there will be no further sale of shares to a third-party buyer. We remain committed to our plan of delivering long-term success and sustainability and together, alongside our dedicated staff and loyal supporters, I believe that we can now move forward as one unified football club

No offence to Deodrant2 at all, he's a decent lad who posts what he's told and there's no way to corroborate stuff when you're just an ordinary person.

But it's amazing that some people, who won't accept positive stories, were all over this like monkey pox

It was 100% wrong, there is no delay in transfers or contracts and KLD isn't waiting for his inheritance.

I'd say it's a bookie's deal.

Donald can cash out now, at a certain price, or hold on, keep investing and hope for a better return.

I’d have preferred Donald to be bought out in full, but having KLD as a controlling percentage and him & Sartori with over 80% is fantastic compared to what we had 4 or 5 years ago.
