The old UK meaning of a billion was a million million, or one followed by twelve noughts (1,000,000,000,000). The USA meaning of a billion is a thousand million, or one followed by nine noughts (1,000,000,000). The UK government has been using the American meaning of billion since 1974 for the numbers it gives out.

Either way, it's safe to refer to a billion as a **** load, so nothing to have many sleepless nights over! :)

if a hundred hundreds is a million, then a million million is a billion... lets ask Dr Evil. lol
Cheers, yes mate in a place called Montlaur near Carcassonne in the SW.

It's really isolated so perfect for this situation but means we can't have friends and family dowm.

That sounds perfect to me. said on a few occasions that since France 98, I've had a soft spot for the place. never been, but nostalgia as a mid teen gives me a feeling on connecting. Can't explain it. You have English Telly down there?

I have SAFSEE for our games and Sky through the internet so that's enough.

I've just found I get games through Amazon Prime as well which is handy.

Celtic v Hibs think I'll have a look the forward we are interested in
What sort of striker is he? I don't watch any Scottish football.

Whilst I don't think we'll be able to get him, if the interest is genuine, I'd be intrigued to know what sort of attributes we're targeting for up top. Hopefully a bit of mobility and movement.

Our new striker or strikers are going to start with a huge weight on their shoulders so they will need to hit the ground running hope to god he chooses well.

I only caught about half an hour of it but he looked mobile, covered a lot of ground dropping deep and going out wide, passing and awareness looked good and he took his goal well on his weaker foot.

Quite a big lad too and 23 years old.

I think we are after him because he said himself he's flattered by the interest.

Confirmed in the echo this morning that we have made contact with Hibs and as you say he said he was flattered by the interest. We'll soon see.

I wonder if Nisbet is a forward that we were after in the summer, when Parkinson went for Graham and O'Brien instead.

He just moved to Hibs in the summer, didn't he?

She's 58, I'm 58.
Well I saw the post he put out and said he would only answer emails during his work hours and not when he was down for furlough most generous of him
You do realise that if you do work while you company are claiming furlough for you, the company (SAFC in this case) will be prosecuted. The Government have already set up a department to look at this once the furlough scheme ends.

The terms of his furlough means he cannot do any work whilst furloughed. Its against the law for him to do so and could put his job at risk.

Also why should he answer emails outside of his posted job hours? Would you do that if you were in his position? I NEVER answer emails outside of my work hours as I'm not getting paid so why should anyone else???

It seems a lot of people have written this season off with 27 games left to be played! Only 12 points off the top spot and 3 off a playoff place it's ripe for the picking in my opinion. If we manage to bring in some quality during this window I can't see why we can't put together a good run and at least get second! Or I'm I delusional?
