Went to buy a bottle of Lambs Navy rum in a shop in Gibraltar. Bloke didnt have any and recommended a cheeky little Appletons a mere 75%. He warned whatever you do do not drink neat. Sorry but that is a challenge in my eyes. What a mistake that was. I would imagine it was close to drinking molten lava. Even diluted it just seemed to be a longer just as strong drink.

TBH I really like Captain Morgan, which many sneer at, but I drink it with blackcurrant and crushed ice.

I've settled on the Diplomatic as my takeover celebration drink as I've tried hard not to rise to abuse on these threads.
