really likes him, or thinks he is slightly better than our other forwards?
hopefully thinks he is miles better,
but starting from a pretty fecking low base
really likes him, or thinks he is slightly better than our other forwards?
What you saying, anyone who questions what goes on and expresses doubt or is pissed off with things aint a propper supporter.
Some of the (dodgy) experiences youve been involved with i bet i was there. Wouldnt be surprised if i recognised you, but can assure you plenty of the same lads are negative about the club due to yesrs of ****e witnessed same as me, so disagree with what you say. I freely admit i am on a right downer with the club at moment ( realise i may have been a bit of an arse on saturday, which a will apolgise for) but until a see evidence of us being ran properly, it wont change. And i know a lot of good lads who followed the club for years, like yourself, feel the same as me.
That's a long way from what I'm saying tbh mate.
Even the happiest clapper, which I'm not, has doubts and questions.. It's just that relentlessly making up 'facts' to fit a negative agenda isn't being cautious imo. People continually insisting they're right and that nothing will change, in the face of lots of things changing, isn't having doubts. The way Dreyfus is being portrayed as a gullible young kid, having his pants pulled down, is very poor imo.
Of course we all have doubts and questions about him but some people have already made the minds up before he's even arrived. At some point we all have to grit our teeth and risk having our fingers burned again. Otherwise this pessimism and lethargy, around the club, will persist imo.
I don't expect people to drop their guard but I'd rather not be told I'm a gullible fool being played, I'd prefer to make my own mind up. I haven't once praised Johnson, Speakman, Sartori, Dreyfus but neither have I condemned them ....
... I prefer to make up my own mind than be told what to think by people who already have.
And they are about all he had been tasked to do in all honesty. With the lockdown and all there hadn't been as much going on.He bungled the season ticket fiasco on 3 seperate occasions.
Went public in his support for Project Big Picture.
Decent sized gaffes in their own right, but when your employers have ripped 20 mill from the club a little self awareness on the scenario and fan sentiment wouldn’t go astray.
There are people in our support who’d prefer to see us fail, just so they can say ‘I told you so’. It’s bloody ridiculous. Was wondering how long it would take before negativity would start regarding Speakman. Apparently we got him from the dole queue now after Birminghams announcement tonight.
I wonder if there are a set of fans in the country who crave negativity as much as ours? Every single thing has to be turned into a negative. If i was KLD i would pack up and tell us to **** off. Some of our "fans" deserve the constant ****e we are served up. They all scream for change and when change comes in the form of a multi billionaire its deemed "****e" and that "nothing will change". Sad things is i believe they hope it wont. What would they whinge about if it did
Absolutely correct. He’s what is known as ‘being up his own arse’.The boys at Wise Men Say, particularly Chris Wetherspoon, are the same. They despise the owners which is fair enough but they manipulate every quote or situation to suit their negative narrative.
Just having a look through Bobs post from last night on a few threads over there...few things of note...
Some interesting points there, I always look out for Bobs post however zany they come across there is always some truth somewhere in them
- CM is currently in Uruguay sorting things out with JS,
- Some other poster popped up and he reckons they are sorting out which club to buy over there which Bob didnt refute
- Some of our players contracts will be cancelled to make way for players to get us promoted
- Sanderson will be sent back from his loan spell
- Cooky was offered a new deal which he turned down, hence they got rid of him
Thank youHere is the link

The cabbage over the road, hit the nail on the head. Claiming it to be an opportunity for SD to heal some wounds. He wroteWhat with all the negativity?? Can people not see that these changes are coming from the new owners? Do you really think Donald would sanction and pay the money these lads are on compared to Parkinson? A long term plan and fresh young thinking! Sit back and enjoy man!
The latest claim is that the new owners can't be any good because they bought Sunderland ....
.... apparently, if they had anything about them, they would've bought a better club.
That's the kind of negativity I'm talking about @Simonside le bon not people with genuine concerns.
If players contracts are cancelled and paid up will that not be included in the salary cap?
Positivity is frowned uponEventually someone has nailed it.
Being positive is an effort because you can be seriously disappointed and constantly attacked by the very vocal pessimists.
Being negative is easy as long as you remember the mantra,
"No one will be more pleased than me to be proved wrong."
It's the easiest get out clause in the book.
Agreed. Even Di Canio did this when he first came in. It all changed after the final whistle at White Hart Lane likeHe's hardly going to come in and say you are all ****, I don't want any of you playing for me. Any manager worth his salt will still try to get a tune out of the squad to at least limp to January
