Wouldnt be surprised if i recognised you, but can assure you plenty of the same lads are negative about the club due to yesrs of ****e witnessed same as me, so disagree with what you say. That's a long way from what I'm saying tbh mate.

Even the happiest clapper, which I'm not, has doubts and questions.. It's just that relentlessly making up 'facts' to fit a negative agenda isn't being cautious imo. People continually insisting they're right and that nothing will change, in the face of lots of things changing, isn't having doubts. The way Dreyfus is being portrayed as a gullible young kid, having his pants pulled down, is very poor imo.

Of course we all have doubts and questions about him but some people have already made the minds up before he's even arrived. At some point we all have to grit our teeth and risk having our fingers burned again. Otherwise this pessimism and lethargy, around the club, will persist imo.

I don't expect people to drop their guard but I'd rather not be told I'm a gullible fool being played, I'd prefer to make my own mind up. I haven't once praised Johnson, Speakman, Sartori, Dreyfus but neither have I condemned them ....

... I prefer to make up my own mind than be told what to think by people who already have.

Couldn't agree more. The thought (regardless of his age) that a guy with this kind of wealth would go into this.....on his own....and not surrounded by the best legal team money can buy is ridiculous. When this is all sorted I would have thought Donald...who is a mere insurance salesman, will have got a lesson in business. Beggars belief that anyone thinks thinks SD is still pullings strings at the club

And they are about all he had been tasked to do in all honesty. With the lockdown and all there hadn't been as much going on.

There are people in our support who’d prefer to see us fail, just so they can say ‘I told you so’. It’s bloody ridiculous.

Just having a look through Bobs post from last night on a few threads over there...few things of note...

  • CM is currently in Uruguay sorting things out with JS,
  • Some other poster popped up and he reckons they are sorting out which club to buy over there which Bob didnt refute
  • Some of our players contracts will be cancelled to make way for players to get us promoted
  • Sanderson will be sent back from his loan spell
  • Cooky was offered a new deal which he turned down, hence they got rid of him
Some interesting points there, I always look out for Bobs post however zany they come across there is always some truth somewhere in them

The latest claim is that the new owners can't be any good because they bought Sunderland ....

.... apparently, if they had anything about them, they would've bought a better club.

That's the kind of negativity I'm talking about @Simonside le bon not people with genuine concerns.

Unless Johnson likes Sanderson and wants him to stay. I'm all for the likes of Graham ****ing off like.

If players contracts are cancelled and paid up will that not be included in the salary cap?

It's not just the negativity though mate....it's the horrible, hateful rhetoric used to express it. There's some talking of "this French kid" as though he's some wet behind the ears 12 year old,when in fact,he's probably got more brains in his left ear-lobe than half of the thick as mince ****ers put together. They know **** all,but are constantly insulting him, and everyone else on the scene, and all they're doing is playing into Methven's hands in giving more ammunition to his argument about thick Northerners.
I'm ashamed to be associated with them,because their behaviour reflects on all of us.

Agreed. Even Di Canio did this when he first came in. It all changed after the final whistle at White Hart Lane like :emoticon-0136-giggl
