Think it's getting sorted now. Wanted to bring JM here, who he had at Bristol. Hopefully he agrees to it.
Hopefully Johnson cancels all days off and gets them working constantly on his way of playing and getting them fitter. Then he can see who has what it'll take to step up and who can't and along with games like Tuesday where he can take a look at some of the younger lads. I'd like to think by Christmas he'll have a good idea of who needs replacing, what he needs to bring in, which young'uns have a part to play etc etc.
any update on takeover announcement?
Hopefully not much longer for official shout.

Imagine thinking that SD had anything to do with the recruitment of Johnson and Speakman 
Sounds like it is with the EFL then so no definitive timescales
It has to be way past the EFL or we wouldn't have had the appointments...must admit, i'm a bit lost as to why the delay in the announcement when there has been this flurry of activity
It is not complicated.. get shot of the 4 useless strikers and bring in some pacy new ones.... scoring a few goals will make all the difference. It is very hard with todays refs and rules, not to give at least one goal away...you have to score 2 or 3 to win. Or if you are our oppo atm you only have to score 1 against us to win or to get a draw.
I dunno mate, I can’t see him not getting approval from those bunch of dinosaurs. I think that could be the only reason no announcement. Oh I’m ****ed if I know
For me it's not just the forwards, we need goals from midfield, we need decent service through the middle, we need players with the mindset to drive into the box. Currently, for me, we're very limited with all of those.
EFL’s team that deal with this have had their hands full with Wigan which is a far more pressing situation than ours. Would expect ours has been held up by that. But they made a decision on that on Friday so hopefully working on ours this week

Something is definitely sorted and signed off. No going back for me. Or the new appointments just wouldn't have happened.

If you can't have a bit enthsiasm and optimism for us after the events of the last few days and listening to what's been said by Speakman and Johnson, what's the point? He'd only been head coach for a matter of hours yet I saw a very different approach from the team than that served up under Parky. And he never beat around the bush, identified where we were ****e and needed to improve, both in performances and some new players. I'm not expecting instant results, although I would like them, but as long as I see us malking those improvements he'll have my support. It's the best I've felt about the club since we've been in htis poxy division tbh.
