It does matter though, because if the takeover had been signed off, there is absolutely zero reason why it wouldn't be announced.
For me it is about the availability of those involved, JS and KlD could be anywhere in Europe or the world for that matter and surely they would be in a photo call.
If you add the announced incoming SpD, and TD, along with possibly a manager announcement, they might like to have them all together when it is announced

Non of what we have seen over this week has any smell of the Cotswold clown or the Eton mess as they had no inclination of investing any more in SAFC KTF

Whilst they are just happy to watch us fall deeper and deeper into obscurity? Aye mint.

Well aye cause that equates to them getting us for a cheaper price thus meaning further down the line if we were in the Prem selling us for a far far greater profit

The price of Sunderland now is as cheap as it will ever be, unless they wait years for the SOL and AOL to become run down even further.

Watching us sink lower and lower in the hope of getting a few million knocked off, whilst then needing to have to reinvest more at the point of purchase to get us back to any degree of normality would just counter-act each other.

Complete madness and shows no intention of doing the right thing for the club.

Its a mute point as its never going to happen now anyway. It would of been nice to have them still involved in a possible investment way going forward which was what the rumour was a few days ago. You cannot have enough billionaires with an interest in the clubs fortunes for me like

I don't really get how we can appoint a manager without the club actually confirming there's been a change of ownership. Otherwise it just looks like Donalds man regardless of what has gone on behind the scenes and it doesn't get any new manager off to a clean slate and break away from the current ****e to the national media / outsiders looking in.
You seem to forget one tiny thing but I am sure you know what it is really<ok>

It still doesn't matter if the outside world believe that the new manager is a Donald appointment, which is what I believe you said. Their opinion in no way effects the manager's ability to do the job or our opinion of him, because we all believe there is a takeover. Doesn't matter when its announced.

Yes it matters and it's also fundemental fans of a club are kept updated with what is actually happening.

It makes zero sense securing a takeover (that fans have literally cried out for) to then, not mention it once done. RAWA have already had meetings pushed back with the club admitting a takeover is being negotiated so it wouldn't make any logical sense to just not saying anything.

So are you saying that you want the club to announce everything that is happening? No business or football club does that. They do everything behind the scenes like what is happening now and then do the big announcement with the picture with the scarfs. The only reason you know that something might be happening is being on the chat rooms - that is where the journalists are getting there information from. Things are happening behind the scenes, that should be enough for you at the moment until everything becomes clearer.

Do you think every Sunderland fan reads 606 or RTG?

It would be ridiculous to have gone through a takeover to then not announce it, whilst recruiting a new manager. I can't actually believe i'm having to explain this.

Lee Johnson would be the most "meh" appointment of the linked names. I wouldnt be chuffed or furious.

My worry with him is the weird streaks of form his teams go through. Reminiscent of Parkinson last season and a bit Bruce when he was here

I.E. The club announcing a takeover once done, my exact point. <doh>

But maybe just maybe they might be announcing everything at the same time - takeover, plans, management team and so on. Maybe just maybe they don't want to do an announcement just for the takeover, then another for the manager, then another one and another one every time something new occurs. All you and the rest of us can do at the moment is be patient
