    I would be very surprised and rather miffed if the new owners allow a pink trousered etonian gobshite to have any official say in the running of the club.
    I hope and expect them to come in mob handed with a very professional team hopefully from the exec board level down to team and academy management level ready to get cracking.

    I'm going out on a limb here, just my opinion and idea, but I don't think he wants more to do WITHIN the club, but more something to do that the profile of being involved with the club can give him. He's been a bit involved with football finances talk recently, testified at a Parliamentary committee a few months ago. What if it's that that he's after? Getting involved with an EFL/FA/Government task force about football funding. Being involved with a club of our size would carry a large enough profile to make him seem influential in a way being involved with say Accrington wouldn't. It would fit in with his ego and give him an outer for when he's eventually pushed out from us, getting a seat on the EFL board . You only need to look at Rick Parry to see how it could work.

    The fanzines should be working together as should the local journalists from all forms of the media banging on doors asking for interviews. One question, what the fxxk is happening at SAFC.

    I detest journalists happy to create news crap at reporting news

    No I get what's in it for him. I just don't see the relationship between him and the fans as tenable and I would imagine he is fully aware of that.

    I just don't see how it could possibly work.

    Whilst I hate CM and want him out, I have to be honest as I can here. CM has been canny instrumental in helping out this deal together. He will still have a role. And if people want to completely get rid of him, I am not even sure this deal would have gotten of the ground.

    I don't like him. Never have. But this is where it's at.
