Its not even debatable now. He has to go.

He's a tortoise at best who is currently back in the safety of his shell. Too scared of defeat to go and attack. Happy to get back on the bus with yet another draw. Fine in the premier league at Old Trafford, not in League 1.

Maguire was doing absolutely nothing. You are allowed 5 subs. Just get Embleton or Diamond on etc and have a go man.
Gets away with murder a lot of the time Maguire like. He's been ****ing ****e this season. Embleton and Diamond have to play behind the striker imo.

That second half is why he will 100% get sacked. He is scared to try and win games of football. Fleetwood equalise and Bartons first thought is lets get 3 subs on and try and win it. He would never think that in a million years. At no point tonight did he think i will put Diamond and Embleton on and try and win it.

Thankfully he will be sacked within a fortnight

That would be a fortnight too long for me mate. Put Monty in charge if need be. At least he can tell the players what it's like to be a winner.

our manager is using a slope on the pitch for not winning a game man , i mean ffs fans have had enough and sick of hearing 2 weeks away lets hope next week is a new start in some sort of way we can't continue like this

Seriously though, what is the point of sacking him with the current owners in place? Firstly its not going to happen and secondly, if it does they will only replace him with worse.

I don't think Donald will sack him and replace him, it'd be too expensive for him. If he did want to do it on a temporary basis or the new owners wanted it done and were happy to pay off the stupidly ****ing long contract Donald gave Parky, maybe Elliott Dickman from the under 23s could step in.

He's been doing well with them and if there's one thing this team needs it's youthful exuberance.

Well, im sceptical over the whole takeover thing unfortunately. Love to be wrong but i can only see two outcomes as things stand. Either nowt is happening and they are drip feeding bullsh*t to those uneducated, northern oiks to keep them off their backs while they have another crack at promotion, or a redistribution of a few shares to keep said uneducated, northern oiks off their backs while they have another crack at promotion.

Surely given all the reporting of it there's three outcomes, one of which is the takeover. It's not like it's just forum rumblings it's been confirmed by the club and discussed across the globe.

Maybe it won't happen, personally I think it will, but why would you discount it as a possibility?

Donald and co are not in the North East are hands off, fans aren't allowed in the stadium so their is not many ways to get on their backs and voice our concern. Unless we go standing outside of insurance offices or whatever Donald's version of Sports Direct is. If anything it will bring more pressure on them.

As for one last push for promotion, there is no chance under Parky. We will be lucky to be top 10. They have to be so hands off cause they are finished at will be at most silent minority owners soon. If they aren't close to selling they would have to act with the manager and get him sacked.

Next Friday. Now I've got your attention....

Phil Parkinson: "I know people think because of the stature of our club that we should be going three, four up all the time, but the salary cap has levelled the playing field." [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG] https://t.co/OGHY283Wti

Almost like a Tory passing the blame. Please ****ing god let this be the last time we see his quotes and see his god awful team selections. If the takeover doesn't happen next week it may be too late for us to even consider going up. This ink has been waiting in a pen for 15 months by my count. Get it over the line for the sake of all of us.

Just stick him on ignore mate, just another tit from across the road spouting ****

As a few have said on here, as a football club as each week goes by we are looking less likely to get one of the two automatic promotion places and from a business perspective, that make these delays in buying the club more and more bizarre. Promotion HAS to be the goal and it has to happen this season.
If I was a multi-millionaire or Billionaire businessman looking to buy this club, I would want this happen right now to give the club the very best chance to get on of these two places...as to hope we get in the play-offs then go on to win is way too much of a risk. While i've said this takeover feels different and I think it may happen, I am at a loss why its taking so long, so I totally understand other peoples doubt about the whole process.
