I can’t see any chance of him going before takeover is done. And that’s no fault of the new guys.

The new owners can’t make the change in case it doesn’t go through - which would make Donald liable.

And Donald won’t be able to make the change without permission from the new guys. And even thought they’d clearly say yes, he won’t do it in case it falls through.
But surely Sartori can? There is no reason why Sartori can’t just order the sacking seeing as he is part of both the current and new regime.

Sartori is currently a minority shareholder - he has no power.
But from a logistical point of view. It’s not about having power it’s just about being sensible and saying come on just get rid of him. Surely whatever happens with the takeover, if it happens or doesn’t happen, Parkinson should be sacked in both scenarios?

The only single person who can make that decision is Stewart Donald. And it’s definitely in his interest for us to be promoted, so you’d like to think he’d agree.

Hopefully the other people involved with be putting on more pressure now.

I’m just desperate here. Never felt this low and disconnected from the club before. Not necessarily saying that a new manager would fix that but I can’t stand another match with that guy.

I’m 100% with you on that.

Just trying to be realistic, I think we need to be ready for another couple of games with him yet.

Even if they do sack him now, I doubt it’s tonight. If it had been a home game maybe, but he’s got to travel back with the lads

If it's any help I've just cracked open a bottle on the strength of a message I've just had.

After the misery of announcing a 'done deal' last year then seeing it all collapse I don't get so carried away, or say as much.

But I'm feeling good tonight and it's a nice feeling.

I'm posting nothing much because other people know more and I don't want to take the attention from them ...

... I admire them for taking all the flak for the sake of informing the decent people.

Yes Smug lad.
That’ll do me.
Enjoy your drink. I’m off to bleach my eyes after watching that utter shambles.
Thanks for the update.

Takeover or no takeover if Donald cared one tiny bit about the future of the club he would sack him tonight himself. Parkinson was his choice after all. Bring Phillips in as caretaker under the condition he will have to step aside if new owner wants someone different. We literally have nothing to lose whoever we put in charge

If he gave a **** about our club he would have sold to FPP last year.

Its not even debatable now. He has to go.

He's a tortoise at best who is currently back in the safety of his shell. Too scared of defeat to go and attack. Happy to get back on the bus with yet another draw. Fine in the premier league at Old Trafford, not in League 1.

Maguire was doing absolutely nothing. You are allowed 5 subs. Just get Embleton or Diamond on etc and have a go man.

He clearly has to go, there’s no chance anybody would think otherwise.

I don’t want the current regime anywhere near picking his replacement tho. And whilst in an ideal world they’d put a caretaker in charge, I think it may actually cause more damage than just waiting a couple more weeks, assuming that’s all we have left to wait

Appointed to stop drawing games we should win but sets the team up in fear of the opposition then compounds it with negative subs and no intention of winning the game, really weak.

Standard Parky. Absolutely no killer instinct at all and yet another draw. I'm sure he'll actually be pleased as we didn't get beat.

I’m trying to stay patient praying for great news with this takeover and manager change..but god it can’t come quick enough we will be adrift in mediocrity if we stick with Parkinson much longer.

What summed him up for me was when Fleetwood had just equalised and we're making 3 subs. Him an his sidekick Butler, just watched each sub with mouths wide open, as if to say, wtf is happening. Parkinson then shuffled a few places to his left and started scratching his ear, totally bemused at what he had just witnessed. Absolutely fck clueless

I've officially 'clocked off' until there's a change, yes I'm still paying for empty seat in the SOL but after buying every stream pass since the season started im now done.

I actually had a nice night without the match, I followed the score of course but didn't have the feeling of absolute rage at watching arseholes like Graham and Grigg stealing a living at the clubs expense.
