Seriously mate, I've been highly regarded by Sunderland lads for 50 years, my support has been top notch. I've sung my head off, travelled the length and breadth, flown back for 20+ games a season, slept in airports, fought alongside lads I didn't even know and sorted tickets, accommodation and transport for hundreds of people.

Yet now, in my 60's, I'm being called all kinds of shyte ...

... I have to say it's quite upsetting.

Just place them on ignore and focus on those that don't give you ****.

The majority know you are posting in good faith, can take your information that way and can choose to believe or not without mud slinging etc. Most appreciate the info regardless of their own beliefs. I am trying to not get too carried away as I have been there before and for reasons still unknown to us all the game changed at the last minute.

I still appreciate the info coming out from both you and other posters who have contacts close to the club or in areas that would know more about high level business dealings. Without that we would have little to talk about with regard to the club other than how badly things are being run. At least we have that light at the end of the tunnel to focus on now.

Not saying nobody ever has info, but having been there, it's either clear when you're in that position and you know the person is first hand involved with the deal, or it's usually just other fan theories being spat back out of a washing machine. I'm sceptical of any rumour that is the latter.

Just a general point for people who never leave their f******g house.

Every seriously wealthy person has an immediate circle of confidantes, an entourage of at least 30 permanent staff and dozens of temporary/itinerant workers.

They're all constantly shagging each other, gossiping and backstabbing. 90% are desperate to be teachers pet and reap the benefits.

The whirlwind of gossip/information is nonstop. The first two months of my current job were filled with stopping all the gossip between the chef, gardener, cleaning staff, handyman, etc. Apparently the chef, who's a very pretty French girl, has a penchant for shagging the guests and staying in their rooms. That's now stopped ...

... she's staying in mine

Much of my current info comes from security/bodyguard lads I've previously worked with. As with army buddies you get into scrapes, back each other up and remain friends.

So for all the pathetic little office dwellers, state employees and call centre drones please just accept that not everyone is like you. Just because the highlight of your day is hometime don't kid yersel that everyone is like you.

It's tedious seeing people constantly dismiss info people get by saying 'I've heard nothing therefore nothing's happening'. How can they make a decision based on zero information but deride other people's opinion based on what they've actually been told?

It's ludicrous, at a time when Donald is actively trying to sell, and others are trying to buy the club, to post, every day, 'nothing is happening'.

Just because it doesn't fit into your needy 'now now now' infantile scenario it doesn't mean nothing is happening.
