Why is it that Ehaw who has taken over 1,000 days to unsuccessfully sell our club, has sold Livermore on the cheap at the beginning of the window?
You would hope Polo Guy would have learned from previous windows and the way we have been screwed/****ed about by other clubs.
Namely, if we sell Snodgrass, make them sweat, sell him at 23.59 on the last day and force them to keep upping their bids towards at least 15 million.

If you are going to sell any first team player you want to get it over with so you can use that money to bring in a replacement.

I do. Why cannot the club just put his face on the big screen before the game with a get well soon message written underneath? n
Ian Ashbee had a career threatening bone disease and I don't remember a minutes applause or a call for one. Likewise Snodgrass last season and Odebejo this.
What happened to the days when the manager or captain would use the situation to 'win it for Ryan' ?
Also remember it was only last season when one of our ex-captains died relatively young and we didn't even have a minutes silence or applause for him.
Probably because a dick knee is slightly different to having surgery to mend a fractured skull that can be a life threatening injury.

Wrong thread.

I remember having a conversation a while back that with PL money going up, foreign clubs would demand more for their players from PL clubs.. I was told I was stupid at the time, but really can't see how having more money in your pocket doesn't make clubs charge more.

Which I suppose highlights why only asking for 10m for Snodgrass when our income for staying up is 20x that (or whatever it is), and he would be key in doing so.
