Second to the ball doesn't always mean late. Late is when the ball has left the area. He challenged for the ball and took out Mason. It's not a foul.

People intent on blaming anyone for what was an accident need to just accept that it's a contact sport.

It was a foul, we got a free kick. He challengd for the ball and missed it because Mason got there first. Cahill was second to the ball, therefore late.

Cahill is to blame , who else did it ? Blame doesn't apportion intent. I never said there was intent or malice. I just asked the question was it reckless ? Some posters think not others do.

Nobody was to blame, it was just an accident.

It's inappropriate to have this sort of nonsense on this thread.
