Tyler Adams and Sinisterra fees are part of the £140m (£45m)40 million for Rutter.
Jimmy has add ons for 8 million. Then there are the bits and pieces for the likes of Roca, Llorente, Cresswell etc.
I didn't work it out. Some newsfeed had it yesterday.
We know how difficult it was to get a manager when we were at bottom of pl. Are we know thinking yet again, we've only to snap our fingers and any manager will come running. I don't see us being an attractive prospect at the moment, especially to ex managers with millions in the bankSomeone else has too on the newsnow clickbait sites
Whilst I agree, last season we reached the playoffs and failed to get promoted. I honestly believe even Parker and Gerrard would have achieved this, it should not have been hard to reach top 6 with the talent pool Farke had.We know how difficult it was to get a manager when we were at bottom of pl. He could have stayed and give it one more season, he could have reviewed it in December, they all love the club until someone else offers more money, Archie was the same, when you are under contract you can say no, the club doesn't say to these players can we put a release clause fee in, the players and their agents are the ones who request them
He couldn’t as his release clause ran out at midnight last night and a pre event has now been set at Leeds. He could have easily said to the club, I will sign a new contract and stay one more season and have the same clause inserted at a future date, there are numerous ways he could have stayed and got his move next season or in the January window. The bottom line is the club asked him to remain, he said no, blame Orta and Rutter not the management on this occassionHe couldn’t as his release clause ran out at midnight last night and a pre event has now been set at Leeds. It's up to the 49ers to replace him with better. That's their job same as with all the others. How's that going so far? If were not careful well have as bad a start as last season and spend the season playing catch up or worseHe could have easily said to the club, I will sign a new contract and stay one more season and have the same clause inserted at a future date, there are numerous ways he could have stayed and got his move next season or in the January window. If the money is so tight I can’t understand why we haven’t used the loan market. Quite a few clubs, including Forest, have been promoted by doing this. Worry about them returning to their parent clubs next season, time to plan for the present. It's up to the 49ers to replace him with better. That's their job same as with all the others. You want the club to sign or attract better players than those we signed when we were a PL team. If the scouts and men responsible for bringing players in are worth their money, they might find us better suited players. It's up to the 49ers to replace him with better. We’ll know around mid October won’t weYou want the club to sign or attract better players than those we signed when we were a PL team. If the scouts and men responsible for bringing players in are worth their money, they might find us better suited players.
When there is a release clause activated at the last minute, it is hard to plan for. Every player we are interested in seems to be attracting interest from similar clubs, we don't have a free run at them. Take the Palace lad, you said yourself you are glad we are not loaning someone who could leave in December and has to be guaranteed a place.
We have gone back for him today with a £15m bid but palace don't want to sell him
Rowe is refusing to play and engineering a move to Marseille
I will bash the owners when it is deserved, we are in a mess, they need to get it sorted, it seems funds are available so I am hopeful

Would be a safer bet to just never buy anyone again and promote from the academy onlyRelease clauses vary, i think people have to understand that someone like Rutter came with a big ticket price into a relegation battle - he should sack his agent if his agent doesn't negotiate a way out. The rat clauses were a similar concept... get players to come who might not otherwise by giving them a clear safety net. In the rat cases the club did a cameron/brexit where they gambled on it never happening. Which was pretty stupid. The beef with Rutter is probably that it was negotiated too low compared to the purchase price... but unless you've been in on the negotiations, the positions of both sides are all conjecture.
I think it's really naive of Farke to 'say no' to release clauses. You're not going to keep turning down player after player or losing out all the time to people who do offer them. It's not the release clauses that are the fundamental issue. It's the terms of them. If a player is dead set on leaving they can down tools, cause unrest in the dressing room... not many clubs can afford to send them to rot in the academy. so they get sold anyway.
The club just needs a sensible contract management strategy, which they clearly haven't had recently... so let's see what Mr 'Contracts in his sleep' works out going forward.
