I’m going to remain open minded a little longer on this one. £40m is a good price if it really does reflect a £16m profit but that does mean we need to bring in several players and spending somewhere in the region of £50m

Time is short, those players need to settle in and the huge cloud is I don’t trust Farke.

I’m also concerned about team moral, they see Wober and Aaronson come back, Firpo looked so uninterested and now we want Rowe who’s refusing to play for Norwich.

Someone suggested Moyes, although I don’t want him myself, we need someone with his no **** attitude

I would also move heaven and earth to get Wober, Aaronson and Gnonto out of this club. Something wasn't right last night and the team didn't look like a team. They are the common denominator.

Might just be me but I find it hard to forgive players who turned their back on the club.

This might be controversial and I do understand why but I'm gonna say it anyway.

If Rutter leaves then it's a big opportunity for the club to get a proper 10 in. He doesn't score goals, he gets caught in possession too often and tries to do everything on his own. He's not a 9, he's not a great 10, he can't really have the same impact out wide and he doesn't have the nous to play in midfield. It feels like we shoehorn him in because he is a very good player. It doesn't really work as a shape.

Saying that....he is one of our best players.

Over to the 49ers to spend some ****ing cash and build a squad in 3 weeks.

The problem is mate, if he goes, which looks very likely then like Summerville and Kamara he needs replacing, it's been weeks now and no incomings to improve the team , all we're hearing is we're in for him and him but the fees they're offering does it mean they're serious or is it just the pr machine turning, ' we tried we really did'
What they promised when they took over to what they're delivering is worlds apart. They even said they had planned for both scenarios of promotion or staying in the Championship, we'll if selling off all your assets and not replacing them is what their plan was, then they've achieved it.

If rutter is one of our best players then we are screwed. Honestly i think he is a show pony and hopeless at scoring.

Gray 40..jimmy 25..kamara 8..is 73

40 million for Rutter.

Jimmy has add ons for 8 million. Then there are the bits and pieces for the likes of Roca, Llorente, Cresswell etc.

I didn't work it out. Some newsfeed had it yesterday.

I agree. The owners are gonna have to splash the cash over the next couple of weeks to get away with it. There were grumblings in the crowd last night before this broke.

Hasn’t taken long for the optimism for this season to evaporate. Listen to us bleating over Rutter. He’s a good player, no more than that, not a world beater but he will need replacing and as we get closer to the end of the transfer window clubs will know that we are desperate and will up their prices. Whether Farke likes it or not we need to start using the loan market wisely and quickly otherwise we’ll be out of the promotion race before it even starts. As much as I hate to say it but Sheff U have shown how to get your business done.

That's the issue, we all knew they'd be sales but it was obvious we would need new signings too, they haven't materialised, certainly to the standard required

What the **** are we paying Hammond and Steinson a wage for.

Maybe preparing for the RB takeover??

Was probably always going to happen. Marthe seems to be struggling with it all, so could well happen sooner. Problem being, where does it leave us with a small squad in a long season.

We’d end up with a load of RB loans or possibly a couple of RB players released from contracts and joining on a free.

49ers will either invest to see things improve or indeed they’re looking to sell. RB are no fools, they’d not be investing if the 49ers are genuinely intent on asset stripping

Hope they're better than the last ones we had off them
