Apparently Downing and Adam deals are close. Thoughts on this? I think it will be very good, especially Downing, adding some much needed pace and width to the team, and will help get the best out of Carroll. Both will help balance the midfield and strengthen the left side. Suarez will aid delivery to attack.

I think so as Downing is just at home on the right.Also a left footer playing on the right can add a new dimension to crossing. Would love to have both but mata would be first choice.
