Who knows? The press reports are neither here nor there at the moment. The guys from the times report him as on the plane to Denamrk. Sky say he's on his way to OT, others say he's at Melwood.
True, I usually go by what sky say as they seem reliable. Would love Jones at Liverpool he looks a real talent, but Dann looks a good option if Jones goes to the dark side.
I would prefer for us to sign Jones but look's like he's going to United now. Dann is not a bad second option and he's a life long Liverpool fan so get him in. YNWA.
Just hope this isn't Vidic part 2. He was nearly ours and then went to Utd and has been their best player ever since.
More speculazione della Aqua: "I can say that I am not aware of any interest from AC Milan," said Aquilani's agent Franco Zavaglia to Gazzetta dello Sport. "They are just rumours and we have had no contact with Milan. "Juve have asked us for a few days to reflect and in the meantime, we are looking at the options in Italy and abroad. "I don't think the problem has to do with the buy-out clause but rather that they [Juventus] are looking for someone whose characteristics are more defensive. "We will see what happens. "Whatever happens, Alberto is not left in the middle of the road as he still has three years left of his contract with Liverpool." The last line looks like preparation for a possible about-turn, unless he's still playing politics to get us to lower the price.
Same here - absoulutely buzzing about next season. What a midfield. We've finally got some real depth with the squad. I also hope Aquilani stays, he'd make a great CAM, I don't see him staying though.
I did want him to come back, but I don't think we need him any more. That being said, it does depend on what kind of formation we opt for.
The only reason I wouldn't want him back is because of the way he's dismissed us recently. In terms of his style he would fit brilliantly into Dalgish's pass and move style, especially now he's over his injuries. I think he played around 7 games the season before last, and incidently we won every game he played...
Gervinho has finally revealed his intention to join a Premier League club. Anyone fancy him as Eden Hazard is looking evermore likely as Lille reveal they would be unlikely to sell both (Gervinho seems the more likely of the two to leave..)
I do.I reckon we could also get him for a reasonable price and its obvious that he's a better player than Nzogbia. With his brazilian flair on one side and possibly Downing on the other,we could have decent width.
Agreed, although I'd think he would be more likely to join Arsenal, as they have Champions League football next season. On the other hand he could join a club who are looking to bolster their squad and fight for a place in europe. (I'm not talking about Newcastle) Arsenal seem somewhat 'dismantled' at the moment, Fabregas' future unclear, as is Nasri's and Arshavin's. It wouldn't be a smart move to join them if their current players are unhappy. (Bit like Newcastle with Enrique, Barton and Nolan)
You also forgot about the ''Kenny factor''. Kenny managed to get Jordan Henderson into believing his overall project. He can do that with more than just him.I reckon Arsenal due to Wengers stubborness and stupidity could be the ones that make way out of the CL spots to accomodate Chelsea and Manchester United.
Yeah, and with Arsenal also being reluctant to cough up the £110,000 per week Nasri wants, they are unlikely to splash out on another big player's wages.
esRadio have apparently reported that Aguero has agreed to join LFC in principle after the Copa America.
Yea just saw that. Huge spike on google realtime too of "Aguero LFC" seems to just be a rumour though and has no substance http://www.google.com/search?tbm=mb...ih=1048&q=aguero lfc&aq=f&aqi=g1g-m1&aql=&oq= I can't tell you how much I'd like it to be true though, what a player.
I'd cry with joy, him and suarez either side of carroll would scare the living **** out of any defence
Wow, that would be one hell of a attack. Maybe thats why Kenny's stocking up on midfielders? I mean if he sells Poulsen, Cole and Jovanovic, loans out Shelvey and/or Spearing, he'll need quite a few more midfielders to fill the spots in the first team (If we were to play 4-3-3). Think about it, next season's midfield: Gerrard Miereles Lucas Henderson Aquilani...? Shelvey (Loan?) Spearing (Loan?) Add to that a defence with the likes of Carragher/Agger/Johnson/Kelly/Dann(?) and I reckon we would well be back in the race for Champions League. Edit - Link. Quality words from the new lad. If it is true (Because it is quoted from Daily Mail) then I guess all the people who said Kenny is getting some english grit, determination and passion in the team to build a solid core were right.
