Mata would be a great signing. Im slightly concerned there will be no place for Maxi next season, he turned in to some sort of goal scoring beast at the end of the season and it looked like he was loving playing for Kenny.

KPR I hope the Mata rumours are true , but like I say we'll have to wait and see. None of us knew much about the Henderson interest until Sunderland confirmed we'd made a bit. We were hearing rumours about Scott Parker , Adam & M'Vila at the time. I'm not too concerned , as I am confident that we will sign good players - since the owners have come in we've bought Suarez , Carroll & Henderson - three top players in my opinion that could be with us for at least 7/8 seasons. Not heard much about Marveux recently.

Speculation: The back page of tomorrow's Daily Mail makes for interesting viewing - it basically says Man United's bid for Phil Jones is in tatters and that Liverpool have stepped in with a £22million offer Man we are spending crazy cash ( if true) wow!! Still think that money can be used elsewhere or better, not that I wouldn't mind such a promising player but....22, around the same amount as Torres when we bought him!

Remember these new players have to settle and gel first. Lets not get ahead of ourselves or put to much pressure on them. Its great to be optimistic, which I am, but lets not go screaming and shouting about it. Lots of money doesn't always mean instant success.
