Aye, have to agree there. I thought a lot of his posts were frustrating (when being incredibly cryptic about things, especially since they never seemed to happen) and I certainly disagreed with his pro-donald posts, but I'm surprised and disappointed that they've banned him. I don't think he'd said anything abusive or out of order and, whilst I don't agree with his support for the owners I think he's entitled to his opinion. His "itk" stuff can just be ignored as well if people don't like it. It remains a frustration that lads like him who, whatever their faults, are obviously good Sunderland fans get banned whereas we have all sorts of opposition fans coming on, some of whom are there solely to take the piss, and they get to stay until they say something ridiculously out of line.
Apparently my 20 year ban was for responding in kind to multiple people who were attacking me. The thread that I'd posted had around 40 likes and hundreds of responses. I was polite to everyone who was polite, but of course, it was deleted.
The posters who reported me, and therefore had me banned, are still there sniping at people but never post threads because they have nothing to say.
I said to Roger the other day, that the forum is being allowed to die and he didn't have an answer.
He told my nemesis on there to **** off so he's not all that bad
Plus that twat is still goading me but others have reported him but still nowt done
F***me 20 year...... only been back on 3 days and its turned for the worse in that time. There's even more of the germ carriers there with f***all to say apart from little one liners designed to get the bites they crave. When I first started browsing the site it was one of , if not the funniest things I've read. Shame how the mods have let it slide, can't remember the last time I had a good laugh at the site.......... shame on Roger and the rest of the mods for letting it get to this.

It used to be absolutely class, although I'm thinking back about 15 years or so! I think a couple of things happened; firstly they split the football chat from the off topic chat. It was much better when everyone went to the same page, they might have come just to chat about football but they're end up embroiled in all sorts of completely random discussions. As soon as they split it they watered both sections down, and now a lot of people only visit one bit and not the other. They said it was because some didn't like the football talk being swamped by off topic stuff, but if anything worth discussing in the football was happening it would find its way to the top naturally.
The other thing that happened was too many knackers got access to the internet. That and the social media explosion led to lots of attention seekers coming on, not to chat and discuss football and other things but to be a "look at me" zany invented character. At its best these places are like a pub. When I'm stuck at work or stuck in the house, it's as near as you can get to meeting random people, and some you know, in a pub and discussing Sunderland and all sorts of other random stuff. It's spoiled somewhat by the bellend in a cat costume trying to get people to think he's funny.
It also got very serious, I remember the good old days of board invasions and Justin TV, not allowed any of that now and it would be an instant ban. Then you have the link up with Google so the avatars have to comply with what they'd be happy with, they're saying he needs certain buttons on the screen all the time to comply with some rule etc, they've got to be more careful of the content that's allowed. I've never really had an issue with any of the mods, but it has become almost a play ground for opposition fans to take the piss whilst Sunderland fans get banned for next to nowt. I still like the board, it's busy, there's some really canny posters when you skim past the idiots, but it'll never be what it was

Obviously that person is pally with the mods as they removed mine and others posts condeming him.
So the other lad said its cominal how one rule for one and another rule for others.

Such a shame as it's a good forum but some mods are absolute ****ers and if your cards marked banned for nothing.

Some of the mods? They’re all a bunch of spineless ****ers. After many warnings I’ve clocked which mods are on and asked them what the warnings were for and each one reckons they didn’t issue it.
100% one rule for one on that forum, it’s an absolute shower of ****e.
I had numerous arguments with Pancho and endless warnings ...
