I see that clown The Fish is typing novels again over there.

This is the idiot who admitted to creating a false internet persona to try and come across intelligent, he used to google big words to use but frequently used them in the wrong context! <laugh>

When I asked him why he dropped his act he said it was because 'it had served its purpose'.

ALREET JOHNNA, ALREET SIMA 4 days and Johnna can get his grassing head on again . Sad ,sad people. I get back on 2.35 on Monday. Might have new job to start Monday morning so it'll be 6ish when I'll be getting on. Banned by half past <laugh><laugh> f*** em.

I've never understood that either mind. Even the harmless ones like that Gideon Gungeon one who always says mate in every post, or Mary Hinge who types like a bellend. It's their "thing". Not sure why any grown man would do it, and I really can't understand the ones who go to extremes like some of the mags.

I used to live away, and now I hardly get out after we had a littleun, I just see these message boards as about as near as I can get to a pub a lot of the time (and certainly during lockdown !). They're a place for a bit crack, a chat about a common interest, I'd like to think that I come across exactly the same in person as I do on here because I don't understand the point of deliberately acting like someone else on line. Like the ridiculously positive / negative posters, I'm sure half the time that's just their "thing". In real life I doubt anyone is always happy or always negative, it's just daft. I try and look on the positive but when everything's turning to **** and I'm pissed off about it I'm not going to pretend that I'm perfectly happy!

The effort to stay 'in character' must be enormous, I can't imagine.

I had one of my RTG stalkers who'd instantly throw up one of my quotes from years back to try to win some endless argument.

I once checked a quote of mine because I thought he'd doctored it. But I couldn't find it as the thread it was on had been deleted ...

... that's when I realised the weirdo must have a file on me, wtf!!!

Exactly mate I dont see point.

How I am online is exactly as I am in person I have no filter. Not rude but sometimes say things probably shouldn't <laugh>

I'm a bit of a technophobe,but I found it a bit weird after being on RTG only a short while I got a message thingy saying I had a follower. ALREET JOHNNA :emoticon-0128-hi::emoticon-0128-hi::emoticon-0128-hi:

Mind, I use my phone for rtg, and the amount of times I've accidentally clicked a username instead of a thread name and then clicked follow when trying to click off it! At that point I know they'll get a notification saying I'm following them. Have to decide whether to keep following them, at which point they'll think I'm a freak, or immediately unfollow and hope they aren't offended! God knows what following even does like , sounds stalkerish though

Since the format changed, when scrolling down I'm forever accidentally hitting reply then something else that comes back with a prompt (embed media?), now that's what 'end of thread' means for me!

Yes when I was dealing with mental health issues and being bullied on there but I still wanted to chat with my mates about the world cup. I was still posting in the same style as me.
