Big Sam for me if we could get him to commit to the club long term. Need probably to get past his ego of managing a team in the lower leagues. I just think he's a great fit for us. His style, knowledge and if you don't play for him your pulled off. I think one game with us he subbed Yedlin after 20 mins because he wasn't doing the biz. We are never going to play tippy, tappy....just want blood and snots for 90 minutes from us. If Sam came back and he got M'Vila back think I might wake up and have gone to higher pastures. Got to dream right...
I wish Jack Ross well.....I think he will look back in regret that he could have been more positive in his approach and really took the balls for glory route. Faint hearts Jack win f*ck all and I felt this was your biggest downfall. It's a big difference coming from St Mirren...no disrespect to them....to Sunderland......40,000 fans wanting the win and nothing less. You had two big Wembley opportunities and you couldn't get us over the line. Should and could have done better.....but best wishes for the future.

Christ, that nugget blamed VAR on the EU saying that he hoped Brexit happened because you can't have someone else telling us how to run our game.

When Blackpool were in the PL wasn't he always on about how refs made mistakes because they didn't have the technology to review decisions and he wanted the technology brought in?!

Stendel plays lovely, fast moving l, high press football.

They were brilliant to watch at the SOL last season, how we won that game was hilarious. We were literally pissing ourselves after.

I’d back him all the way.
The Barnsley fans are not happy about him being sacked.

If there'd been no news about the takeover today I'd have said that sacking the manager at this point would mean the new guys were incoming and wanted their own man, as it is who knows.

Anyway I hope to buggery that all you lot who wanted Ross gone are proved right about him being the problem not the players.
Of course he is/was the problem.
He inherited at least 8 or 9 players good enough for this tin pot league. He has brought in another dozen or more including 4m + on 2 strikers ( an unheard of amount in this league ) . Willis, dobson, o'nien, maguire, macglaughlin, flanagan, baldwin, ozturk, 4 loan strikers etc etc. We got them because our wages/status were bigger and better than all the other clubs.
Ross proved he couldnt cut it twice at wembley, all the score draws. His football is horrible. Bowyer and wilder got out of this league first go with much inferior resources. Ross has failed.
Good riddance

Absolutely - I can;t see how a manager going can make anyone think that a takeover isn't happening. It may not be but this would tell me that there's more chance of something happening!

Bit disappointed tbh. I wanted this to work and the sacking and starting again has never worked for us and has us where we are now.

Will see what tomorrow brings but they've done it at the right time with the game called off on Saturday
Of course sacking has worked.
Do you think we would have stayed up with bruce, o'neill, di canio.?
We persisted with moyes when it was clear he had and was failing . Worked well

Yeah he brought in a **** load of players and wasted money on strikers who can't score or more accurately the people in charge of transfers did. Quantity over quality and it showed.

Pointless talking to you about this stuff anyway you see everything in stark black and white and won't concede an inch. Boring.
