Yes, and we were **** and players still wanted to join us, even with the likes of Sexton and Atkinson in charge.

apparently not! one more season, well that was before Fergies decision.
Rooney when on form is unstoppable and his partnership with Van Persie is just brilliant as we've seen this season, this season he was injured most of the time.
One of Moyes's first job is to keep Rooney and persuade him, i really hope he can persuade him to stay, i can't believe some people want him to go, he gives his all, when on form he is one of the best all round strikers, i just hope he can change his mind and i hope he does.

Moyes and Rooney don't have the best of relationships

Its clearly a different period of time and football has changed somewhat since then.
Won everything possible at united so perhaps he wants a new venture/experience? He's getting far too much stick IMO, not as if he's a born and bred United fan either.
oh yeahh and that .. spot onOr he doesn't want to work under Moyes????![]()

If he wants to leave I've come to the point where it's bye bye Wayne. Sell him if playing for the greatest team in world football is too much.

too much stick?? from us?? or the press?
Its all warranted. he wanted better players at the club when he held us to ransom, now we have his form has been off and cant get in the team. I think the lad is a prize twat always have. I'm happy for him to stay but he needs to pull his socks up. If he wants a new challenge then fair enough. He should come out and say it.
I think being told he can gladly sod off if he thinks the grass is greener elsewhere is him getting off lightly to be honest.
That's about what he deserves.
Do you think we should sit by whining and wailing as he cons his way to a new £300k a week contract or something?
if that is the reason he's making noises then of course he deserves stick, but seriously, I can't see him doing it for mercenary reasons.
