Hello Reds,

I can't understand Wayne Rooney.

He's playing at the most successful club in his native country.

Won pretty much everything with Manchester United but wants to move on?

What possible motivation outside of money could there be?

With Sir Alex, David Gill, Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs & Paul Scholes eyeing the exit, is it like an exodus?

I honestly don't think Rooney's motivated by money or trophies any more, I think he's psychologically fragile and just wants unconditional love from fans and a manager who will support him no matter what.

I reckon the pressure at Utd may have gotten too much - back when he first joined we were in a slump and happy just to have an exciting player. Nowadays we have been the top team in England for the past seven years and the expectations have risen, so fans are demanding more and less willing to put up with him just playing well.

He's got 23 goals and assists in the PL this season, which is the same as Mata and only four or five less than Bale or Suarez. Yet those three are worshipped by their fans and can do no wrong in their managers' eyes, whereas Rooney is criticised at Utd for not doing more and dropped to the bench.

He may well look for a move to somewhere like PSG (particularly if Ibra leaves) or somewhere in Italy where the chances of success are lower, but so are the expectations and the fans would worship a player of Rooney's quality and standing.

he won't leave, he'll properly be persuaded to stay one more year and then decide to stay or sign a new contract next season. Mark my words.

He is still important and our key man, a player who drives us forward. The best all around striker in the league.

let's stick with him, lets not turn our backs on him guys. I still believe in him, i believe in Wazza he will still be here next season. one of Moyes's first task is sorting our Wayne, hopefully Moyes persuades him that he is still in his plans and i think he will get persuaded and end up staying next season.

Coming from the person who swore that Fergie wasn't leaving and it was all made up rumours.......
