Ah but Jonjo doesn't complete games, does he ?

 

He's been much better during the second half of the season tbh. Scored some great goals too. I'd have sold him asap in January, but he's a very important cog in the midfield now

Come to think of it, he's scored more goals during the second half of the season than the midfield I replied to have scored between them all season

 

Like he'd have a choice

So your midfield of Hendo and Coutinho is better than Cork, Ki, Jonjo and Gylfi?

Our best midfield has more goals than your best midfield too

Milner would be a very good signing though. Can't see Rodgers going for Benteke (although it's bloody obvious he should).

 

That would be a second choice midfield though.

 

I know, but I'd hardly call it strength in depth. Surely a club challenging for the title would have players sitting on the bench that would get into starting sides of the likes of Swansea.

For example, if Arsenal sign Vidal, they could have Wiltshire, Walcott, Chamberlain, Flamini, Ramsay, Arteta, Ozil or Carzola on their bench next season. For me, that is true strength in depth.
