Leam Richardson faces an anxious wait to discover whether he’ll have the services of James McClean and Curtis Tilt for Wigan Athletic’s promotion run-in after both limped off against Bolton Wanderers.
Tilt had to be replaced by Kell Watts in the third added minute of the 1-1 draw against the Trotters with what looked to be a leg muscle injury.
McClean then went down with only seconds left, and was seen leaving the DW Stadium on crutches.

as i remember that famous 10th finish (ahem) we could have ended just above the relegation spots but all results went our way and we somehow jumped higher than our season deserved so on that basis your memory is fine or mine is also shot, either could be true right now.

No, it was the skillful management of Stevie Bruce, who guided us to the 10th place finish that his talents deserved. Or that's what Steve says anyway ;)

With the standard of referees in L1 absolutely anything is possible.

So many teams, us included, have been top and flying only to collapse.

Plymouth went on a losing run of half a dozen games, Rotherham could blow promotion and Oxford's form is rotten.

This is the time of year when injuries/suspensions can cripple teams whereas we have good players back.

Tonight could be a major boost without us even playing.
