All kinds of things happen during these run ins.
Teams fall apart, relegated teams play out of their skin for no reason, referees lose control and give ludicrous decisions.
Plymouth recently lost five or six on the bounce so have proved they can be as erratic as anyone.
When Bruce had us finish tenth we were on the verge of relegation and just safe going into the last day ...
... a series of freak results flung us halfway up the league*.

as i remember that famous 10th finish (ahem) we could have ended just above the relegation spots but all results went our way and we somehow jumped higher than our season deserved so on that basis your memory is fine or mine is also shot, either could be true right now.
we can sit and pick apart each game and those of our 'rivals' but as we have seen in this league anyone can beat anyone else and while it can be fun to try to guess the end result i have a feeling, going off performances, that we are starting to get a bit momentum...general play has been improved and our failing at the minute is not scoring, with players to return who are capable of taking the lead and scoring therefore taking some pressure off stewart i think we will be putting that side of things right at just the right time.
