Wilshire looked excellent before his injuries, but as of right now I'd never take him over Paulinho.

Probably Sagna, but it's a close call.

The best Arsenal player by far right now, IMO, is Cazorla, and I'd definitely find a place for him in a combined squad. Which is why I was mystified he didn't start against Villa.
 
Cazorla had traveled back from a South American friendly for Spain, RWAEB. He looked pretty out of it when he came on, from what I saw of the game.

That confused the hell out of me too. They had a thread-bare squad and left their best player on the bench. Cuckoo. Maybe Wenger has actually lost it!
 
so, arsenal kick off in just under and hour. - Fenerbache aren't gonna be a pushover.

Interesting fixture this, as the fans are putting a lot of pressure on the club to make signings. Defeat will only add to that, where as a victory away from home could really make a positive difference.

Do we want to see them crash out over the 2 legs*? or do we want them in the CL to add more games to their season?


* presuming Fener don't get kicked out, that is.

I want to see them lose this, Fener get disqualified, they get reinstated, the lose all their group games. Nothing against Arsenal in particular, I'm just a sadistic ****.
 
The Gunners' keeper hasn't had to make a save, yet. Just as well, I suppose. He's not the best.

I'd have Lukaku in our team without any hesitation.

What is Mourhino doing? Trying to bump up Ba's price-tag before the transfer window closes. It's the only reason I can think of why he gets the nod over Lukaku.

Benteke a one season wonder? Behave <laugh>

I can't help but feel we should've offered Villa more like the Soldado money since we had it. Don't get me wrong, I'm positive about Bobby as a signing but I think we've missed out on a World Class talent in Benteke and he's perfectly suited to the Premier League. Reckon Chelsea will either go for him this transfer window or January :(

agreed. Don't think they'll get him now, but he'll be gone in Jan.
