how you mean use as much public as they want? I know Madrid are in debt but also the worlds biggest club in terms of operating income but there is definitely an issue with funding the Bale deal, as otherwise it would have happened by now, so if they shift these players to you, that possibly brings in 60 million? Also I don't see how Madrid would be after Suarez as they have young strikers who are being given a chance, Bale (if he signs) plus Ronaldo who could potentially score 80 plus goals between them in Spain. Plus Suarez is just too much trouble.
Real (and Barca) are funded by the Spanish state, so all they have to do is ask for the money. And i doubt Real would go into a season without an internationally recognised striker, it's not the way they do things, plus Suarez has been linked with them throughout the summer (though largely as a fall back, in case they couldn't get Bale)
They won't sign Suarez, the only link made is by the lazy press. And if Madrid could ask for any funds they wanted and wanted to sign both Bale and Suarez, it would have happened. Liverpool fans want to believe Madrid are interested as they have a chip on their shoulder about them valuing Bale at a world record fee.
No, but I did my apprenticeship at Chart...and it was BR then! I think most people would associate bogey with a nasal nuisance, so thought you might have been around trains, saw Ashford, put 2+2 together and made 563. ...if its not that, I hope you don't own an anorak, satchel and a notepad!
Di Maria is a possibility I guess, but who are RM going to sign to replace Benzema? - I can't imagine he'd want to go to Arsenal either.
No anorak or notepad notso, but done plenty of work on Network Rail and London Underground (Euston remodelling, Metronet etc.) Also stepfather/grandfather were railwaymen through and through. Wish I'd kept the Train Sets my stepfather had as a kid (wind up clockwork), they would probably buy me a season ticket (WHL) or two nowadays.
Arsene: "The transfer market really starts now, a lot of activity will happen between now and 2 September. We have 12 days. A lot will happen. It starts now." No Arsene, it started a while ago. What you've fallen foul of is doing it the "Spurs way"
Especially if our "special relationship" includes a clause that says they can't sell players to Arsenal. Oh, if that were true, it would be glorious!
A "cock tease clause". Lead them on, encourage them, then sell to someone else at the last minute, like Higuain.
Newcastle are having the piss taken out of them, again. This time it's by an iPhone: please log in to view this image
Anelka's retired. Must've realised that living in the West Midlands wasn't worth any amount of money. At least the Baggies will have some time to replace him, though. Must be a few pissed off Fantasy Football managers around!
Some suggestion now that he hasn't actually retired and that he's just been given some time off, instead. Hit hard by his agent's death, apparently. Understandable, assuming they're long term friends.
I know it used to be his stereotypically named brother Claude, but if that's still the case then why are they saying his agent's died and not his brother's died? One of those facts is slightly more important than the other!
So, "Stroppy Anelka Storms Out And Quits!", has become, "Anelka Given Compassionate Leave After Brother Dies"? Bit of a **** up from whoever reported it initially!
The journo should be named, shamed, and forced to give a groveling apology on breakfast TV. Then, he should be dragged through the streets and flogged.
