The most liked teams are the non-threatening, uncontroversial, mid-table, smaller clubs whereas the most disliked are the most successful and/or wealthiest - and Stoke (because of the way they play).
Hardly earth shattering news is it?
The only anomaly appears to be Arsenal, who are obviously quite liked by fans of their former title rivals since they gave up the ghost, sold their best players, bought cheap replacements, stopped winning trophies and started patting themselves on the back for finishing 4th. Yet if you read WSC, the most hated teams in the Championship are usually Cardiff and Leeds (although for the season just gone it'll probably be Watford that top the disdain list)
