If they’d had a 20 point deduction, they would still only 3 points adrift of safety! To be fair they had started turning the corner before the points deduction, they would be 9th with those 10 pts

Next up? Exciting David Moyes.Dreadful game of football. Ten Hag probably happy though, the game matched his personality.

The league standings have surprised me this season. No one has really settled into a groove. Arsenal have been efficient and determined if unspectacular, which is why they're top.
The fact that a team as poor as West Ham are 8th and just a point off the European spots speaks volumes.
It's been a weird season so far, to say the least.
I thought their position was because they scored more goals than their opponants most games?I wonder if Villa are this season's Leicester? Because when the pundits and the officials get on the bandwagon it creates a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. So I get why the decisions in recent matches have gone their way. Their have been no outrageously bad decisions in their favour. But it's when a team starts getting all those decisions consistently, instead of some going the other way that you have to wonder. Keep em' peeled!

Utterly bizarre. There was one issue there, not two. I agree no yellow or red, but you could make a case for one yellow, depending on what was said, but never two. Michael O'Liverpool strikes again.Game’s gone giving yellows and reds for that.
Dalot got a yellow for dissent - one yellow per word it seemsUtterly bizarre. There was one issue there, not two. I agree no yellow or red, but you could make a case for one yellow, depending on what was said, but never two. Michael O'Liverpool strikes again.
It was a little tantrum, but a yellow would've sufficed.Dalot got a yellow for dissent - one yellow per word it seems
Against Penited tooOliverpool let Salah off a booking for kicking the ball away, let Nunez off a second yellow for sarcastically clapping his booking and let Szolbaslai off a booking after a clear dive. Zero consistency and as usual almost all of it benefiting Varpool.

So...about as expected then?Against Penited too
Liverpool played like arrogant tw*ts for the whole game yesterday. Casual, entitled and disrespectful of their opponents and the officials.
Got them nowhere.
If only Utd had had Forlan on the bench
