Weird decision for me. Steve Cooper has done a decent job there. Apparently fallen out with the owner, only one winner when that happens.
Yeah I think he’s done a great job and is a very decent manager in general. I doubt he’ll be out of the Prem for long.
Cooper did well to get them promoted in the first place, then kept them up despite the chaos. Their transfer strategy appeared to be entirely random and based upon signing as many as possible. He'll probably get another shot at keeping a side up later in the campaign.
They sort of went the polar opposite to Sheffield, who’ve shown zero ambition in the market, by thinking that signing about 27 players over the last 18 months is a good thing to do. If they focused that spending on about 7-8 good players who Cooper could work with, he’d still be in a job and they’d likely be better off in the table. Now the poor Forest fans are gonna have to endure Nuno-ball.
They've now confirmed that he's gone and they're in talks with Nuno. It'll be interesting to see if he can turn their form around. He did a good job with Wolves and won a trophy in Saudi.
Totally different style of football. His time with us seemed to really knock his confidence, perhaps understandably.
We seemed to insist on four at the back, then replaced him with someone who used five. The whole thing was bizarre.

I have to say, Trippier's recent form is all too familiar. Followed a very similar pattern here. Started really well, played excellently and slotted into the system with ease. Then a couple of mistakes crept in, confidence fell and from then on he couldn't buy a good performance.
He’s 33 now isn’t he. Starting to look like a player at the end of his career recently. Alarming decline in the last month
Trippier's played 28 games this season already, including a couple of England friendlies. That's following a 53 game season and a couple of bad injuries. I'm sure that age plays a part, but he's playing too often. His confidence has clearly taken a few hits recently, too.
He's essentially saying that Liverpool's fans are **** though, so you know, stopped clock and all that...
