I don't know about their result when Suarez was injured but when he was banned I don't think they didn't score more than a goal in a game this season.

Suarez is absolutely vital to their top 4 hopes.

    Shocking shooting by Chelsky.

  5. The god of class and taste refused to let Chavs win, tonight.

Fat Sam's hoofball tactics paid off for him, against the Not-Quite-So-Special One's magician-like tactics.

Mourinho has described West Ham's approach to the game as "football from the 19th century"! <laugh>
Taking the heat off a poor result by creating a media talking point about something else. PortuFergie. <ok>

  7. Moaniho is forgetting the fact that he used the very same tactics to stifle Barca, not so long ago, when he was Real manager, it was undoubtedly one of the worst CL matches I have ever had the misfortune to witness - next to Chav's CL win.

He hasn't forgotten anything. He's just trying to distract people from his failure to win the game. Standard.

Allardyce has apparently told the post-match press conference that he couldn't give a **** about Mourinho's opinion and that he knew he whine about being outdone. Pair of twats.
Chelsea slip up in their title bid and West Ham slip into the relegation zone. Everyone wins.

Its going to be interesting to watch City V Chelsea and Pellegrini V Jose as Pellegrini was the manager of Real which finished 2nd behind the great Barca team, 2nd but still with 99 points and Jose has done what Jose does best and poked fun at any praise offered to Pellegrini, so they have a rivalry, Plus Mourinho is the only manager in the league who can set up a team to keep a clean sheet agaisnt City, he will see it as a challenge to try and claim a famous 1-nil win.

Not sure what to expect, a drab Chelsea win or a game full of goals.

It would be nice if City banged in seven...except Ivanovic is one of the few fit defenders in my fantasy team. Oh well, for the greater good...

I simply can't wait for City vs Barcelona. I really, really hope City absolutely annihilate them. Would be nice for a prem team to do amazingly well in it by playing top attacking football. Let's face it, Chelsea didn't get much credit for winning it the way they did a couple of years ago (and deservedly so). Come on City, do the prem proud...(and then lost a few league games so we can win that instead).

Damn right they didn't deserve any credit for it.

I think City will beat Barca over the two legs.

Can see Barca winning at the Nou Camp 2-1 or 3-2 but then City at Etihad to win 4-1. Yaya will be well up for it.

... the battle of the unfair financial advantage... who should I follow? Yes they play great football but that doesn't mean the way the team has been assembled and the dodgy sponsorship deals right does it? No this is not sour grapes. Of all the fawning of the media over their obvious qualities, why no discussion of the lack of class such as inimidating the ref to get someone sent off, like trying to pretend Dawson used an elbow etc. To me you can't be a class team without showing class in all respects, a fact that has clearly been forgotten by the pundits.

I think part of my desire to see City annihilate Barca stems from how utterly despicable I think some of the Barca players are. Busquets has to be one of the most smug and arrogant cheats to play the game. Yaya Toure is absolutely going to love playing in those two games methinks.

Barca are not averse to the dark arts when it suits them (sadly) .
That they are good enough to not have to persistently use them, is fortunate.

Everyone does it when they feel they have to, it's nothing really to get high and mighty about anymore. Even a big lad like Yaya Toure dives.

Also Aguero tried to make out that Dawson elbowed him yesterday. I agree it's disappointing but it's not like it was a few years back when it was certain teams and players that got involved in play acting.

Navas also pulled a pretend injury routine yesterday. Went down rolling about like he'd been shot and then jumped back up immediately as soon as he was sure that he wasn't getting the decision.

Don't forget the comedy gold in https://vine.co/v/MuVxtIVtJWE. Dzeko is intent on getting the ball and moving naturally till Rose gets his foot on it. Then he goes down like someone is breaking him in two, screaming like a girl, apparently.

Our players get excoriated for acting, and rightly so. But no one seems to be raising an eyebrow at these two beauties.

I have Terry, Oscar Hazard and Toure. I could transfer out Terry and hope for City to win 4-3 even if that screws you over!
