Liverpool have not been particularly lucky i don't think. They are great to watch. Remind me a bit of Harry's Spurs with quick incisive breaks and PACE.
Their defence is suspect, but who cares when you score 3, 4, 5 goals? Letting in 2 isn't a problem.

Suarez is better than Bale was last season. Probably only Ronaldo ahead of him from the prem era.

I don't think Luis Suarez this season is as good as Thierry Henry was in 03/04.

I don't think anybody is going to win it at a canter this year, but all the same, only 3 sides have any realistic chance of winning it, IMO. Probably only two, if I discount The Goons.

I was surprised at the Everton defence.I saw more holes in it than Elton John ever did!
Although, losing their big old center forward at the start didn't help!!!!

I know Lennon found 4000 holes in Blackburn, but John in Liverpool I did not know about.

It will be good not to have Arsenal top after tonight. Surely Chelsea will beat Spam by 2 or we'll lose to City!

I'm not saying Pool didn't deserve the points, clearly they did. But they have also had a lot of luck in that Sewerage stayed with them, and you can forget all this 'we stood firm' rubbish until they stand firm against the media onslaught that a Real bid attracts. Also IMHO it's been lucky that they've scored first so often - I'd like to see their stats when they haven't. Of course people will argue that it's entirely skill that they score first but I think there's far more randomness going on here than people admit. Pundits (and its a human trait anyway) with so much time to fill are always making predictions based on trends that do not always exist, but are just a repeating pattern over a few matches. Every team tries to score first (unless they're playing for a bore draw), so it's not necessarily skill if you happen to meet a lot of teams on their bad day. Who would have predicted that Everton (or us) would be so bad on the day that Pool played them? Is is skill or is it luck? I think it's more luck of the fixtures than we think.

Sorry but that is the biggest load of nonsense I've read in a while!

I kind of agree with Vimhawk.Without Sewerage,Liverpool would have been middling in the PL. As I have said before,if you have a regular goalscorer you could be going places.Two.....wow you are blooming lucky!
If you have a team mate or two who you know will score regularly it bucks up the rest of the team and this is happening to Liverpool.
I don't think we have these luxuries (yet!),but only time will tell.In the meantime we are just hoping that someone will come good on the day and our defence will keep the opposition at bay.
Who will score for us today? If anyone does!We will hope someone will be special on the day......

I take it you mean Suarez? But talking in playground riddles?

If you look at how we were doing without Suarez your argument may have some legs.

When Suarez was banned Sturridge was banging the goals in and when Sturridge was injured Suarez was doing the same. That's the beauty of having 2 strikers that can both be quality up front on their own and devastating as a pairing.

you seem to be forgetting that Suarez was banned for the first 6 games of the season, was it?
and I'm pretty sure Liverpool had at least one prem game this season where he didn't play, possibly through injury, and they still scored 4 or 5. - I'm sure one of the liverpool fans can give the facts.
But saying they would be midtable without him? Well, i think they've proven they can cope.
Liverpool are having an excellent season, you can't take it away from them.
