As for your point re the city player having several complaints from different people, Partey has several different complainants that have been reported from 2 different women. So it ain't just one person's word There is a massive issue around rape and how few rapists are prosecuted, how poor the sentences are, how badly some are investigated, how badly rape victims are treated in court and how few women are believed. Because of what I have read I chose to believe the woman, it's your choice to feel differently but to suggest that "some clown on the internet" plays a role in that is stupid imho. Ched Evans was not 'proven innocent' as there is no such concept in English Law. He was actually proven guilty but the appeal court overturned the verdict on hearing new evidence. He is therefore not guilty of rape but even on his own account of what happened I wouldn't employ him to paint the goalposts. Not being guilty of a criminal offence is not sufficient evidence of good character to warrant being given a job.
