Obviously as a Spurs fan, I have never seen a player actually signing before deadline day, let alone when the window opens, so this was a new experience for me.
I think he’s done a good job overall at West Ham.
Finishing 6th and 7th the last two seasons, getting to the semi-finals of the Europa League last season and they still have a strong chance of going far in the Conference League this season.
Their league form has been poor this year, though.
But it does seem that, when expectations are raised and when he’s got to be more proactive, he either doesn’t want to or isn’t capable of it. He’s too risk-averse at times and doesn’t react quickly enough to the in-game situations. This is how he’s always been though, and has never shown a willingness to be more dynamic.
Ultimately, I think this is probably his ceiling as West Ham manager. That said, I don’t know who they can realistically get in that would (from a results perspective) do better than top 7.

You need to be convicted of rape to be a convicted rapist but you can still be a rapist with out being charged.
Thousands of women have been raped with no one being charged.
Saville was never charged or convicted of rape or abuse of children but he was a rapist nonce.
I have read the police statement saying they were unable to take action against Partey cos of the law which meant they could not charge him as he and the woman (his partner at the time I think) were abroad when she said it happened. They also said the online abuse of her had to stop and that if the incident occurred a week or so later they'd have been able to charge him as the law was then changed.
In effecthe couldn't be charged cos of a technicality.

I did indeed say that about the Greenwood case but have since been informed that pictures were released to kill that opinion and have never said it since.
I have questioned the calling of Party because of the lack of court case, what you have just written has amazed me and i find it hard to understand, couldn't he have been charged in the country where the offence happened?
My stance on this is long lasting though, i hate people being called for something that has never been proved especially by some clown on a football forum.
You may have noticed i have never questioned the City player being called, this is because there are multiple complainants against him and not a he said she said type of thing which should only be decided by a court and jury not the court of popular opinion which it seems would put anyone they don't like in prison.

We don't know. He was arrested after complaints by two different women.
One of them had her complaints dropped because they were overseas.
