What are people thinking for the Chelsea v Liverpool game? Draw? Depends on how we get on against the Baggies, I guess.
Mon The Dyche!
Mass brawl that sees both teams docked three points for failing to control their players which also lead to four-to-six match bans for Kante, Fabregas, Mane and Firminho that affects their start to next season, and a year or so later we hear Anthony Taylor gloat about how he let the two teams cost each other...nothing at all, but if it stops people commenting on the ****e job he did handling the match that apparently makes it worthwhile.

I don't get Gerrard taking over at Rangers.
High pressure despite being the underdog, jumping into a fishbowl with no experience and upsetting a bunch of Liverpool/Celtic fans, too.
Even if he succeeds, how much will it improve his reputation?

I'm sure the same will happen at Tottenham. We've taken the precaution to develop the surrounding area so its unlikely that the neighbours are going to complain however frequently we have events.
Exactly. We got all compulsory purchase on their ass.

Ego trip?

No matter what their current situation, they're a big club. I'd expect it to go pretty badly apart from Gary McAllister. I reckon he might save the whole thing from complete disaster. They should get them into Europe. Whether that's enough over any extended period of time, we shall see?

I live in Glasgow and lot of Rangers fans at work are massively optimistic that Gerrard is the man to stop Celtic winning 10 in a row.

Personally I can’t see anything but Celtic domination continuing. This will be a good but steep learning curve for Gerrard.

And in one fell swoop he has just upset the majority of Mouser supporters in Glasgow and the Republic of Ireland who are strongly Republican / Celtic supporters..... <yikes>

It’s a strange one. Gerrard may turn out to be the next Eddie Howe and gain a lot of respect from fans about his coaching/managerial ability. Good luck to him.
But at this stage, you can’t help but feel it’s more likely to be a Gary Neville/Valencia scenario.

They're a good side to watch, this Brighton team. Blood and guts at the back and some tricky players going forward who want to play ambitious football.

Glad they're staying up.

Gross and Izquierdo have been a couple of inspired signings

...and as soon as I start typing that, Gross goes and heads it a millimeter over the line
