I know there's no sympathy because it's them, but the time wasting by the other Madrid team was disgraceful. And the ref bought it yet again. At one point Costa indicated he needed to come off, then took a shot, then sat on the ground "injured". This ruins European competition for me, but because us fans are so tribal we don't seem to mind because it's happening to someone else - but then it happens to us and unsurprisingly nobody is sympathetic. I'll post something in the refs thread too, but why not have the main stadium clock linked to the ref, so that the amount of time being added on is transparent? Then the refs will have to justify why so much wasted time isn't added on.
It's being reported that Arsenal are interested in buying Sokratis Papastathopoulos as part of an overhaul of that defence.
